Lucknow Metro Rail Corporation Ltd which is now renamed as Uttar Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation Ltd (UPMRCL) is a 50:50 jointly owned company of Government of India and Government of Uttar Pradesh, has come up with the notification of recruitment for various Executive and Non- Executive Category Posts.

Under Executive Category, UPMRCL will recruit

Assistant Managers in Civil, Electrical, Signal & Telecommunication, Accounts, HR and Public Relations.
While  Under Non- Executive Category posts, recruitment will be for Junior Engineers in Civil, Electrical and Signal & Telecommunication post and for Public Relations Assistant post. There are total
28 vacancies for Assistant Manager Civil Post
18 vacancies for Assistant Manager Electrical Post
8 vacancies for AM Signal & Telecommunication Post
6 Vacancies for Assistant Manager Accounts post
2 vacancies for Assistant Manager HR Post
and 2 vacancies for Assistant Manager Public Relations Post

For Assistant Manager Civil, Electrical and S&T post, candidate must have B.E/B.Tech in concerned discipline or equivalent from a Govt. recognized University or Institute with Min 60% of marks for candidates belonging to UR, EWS and OBC category while it is 50% marks for SC category candidates.
For Assistant Manager (Accounts) post, a candidate must have done CA or ICWA from a Govt. recognized institute. There is no min. percentage criteria for this post.

For Assistant Manager (HR) post, a candidate must have done MBA in HR or PGDM in HR or equivalent from a govt. recognized university/institute with min. 60% of marks.
And for
Assistant Manager (Public Relations) post, Master of Mass Communication & Journalism or Masters in Journalism or equivalent is required with 60% Marks.
On the other hand, under Non-Executive Category

There are total
58 vacancies for JE Civil post
40 vacancies for JE Electrical post
17 vacancies for JE (Signal & Telecommunication)
and
4 vacancies for Public Relations Assistant Post

For Junior Engineer Civil, Electrical and S&T post candidate must have Three years Diploma or higher qualification in concerned discipline or equivalent from a Govt. recognized University or Institute with Min 60% of marks for candidates belonging to UR, EWS and OBC category while it is 50% for SC/ST category candidates.

While for Public Relations Assistant post, Bachelor Degree in Mass Communication & Journalism or in Journalism or equivalent from a Govt. recognized University/Institute with minimum of 60% marks for candidates applying for Unreserved and OBC candidates.

The Age limit for all these vacancies is 21-28 yrs. The age calculation date is 1st December 2019. There is a relaxation of 5 years in upper age limit for SC/ST/OBC candidates of UP domicile only.
Selection Process:

For all the vacancies, Selection will be based on a written test followed by Document Verification and Medical Examination in respective category.

This written test will be Objective Type Computer Based Test of 2 hours duration.
There will be total 140 Questions carrying equal marks with negative marking of 1/3 marks for each wrong answer.
In this test, Questions related to
English Language
General Awareness & Computer Applications
Logical Ability
Quantitative Aptitude
and
Concerned discipline will be asked.

Pay Scale:

Candidates selected for Assistant Manager post will be absorbed under pay scale of Rs 50000- Rs 160000/-
while Candidates selected for Junior Engineer post will get a pay scale of Rs 33000- 67300/- and Candidates selected for Public Relations Assistant post will be absorbed under pay scale of Rs25000- Rs51000/- Interested candidates can apply online by visiting official website www.upmetrorail.com.
Application fee is Rs 590/- inclusive GST for UR and OBC candidates while it is Rs 236/- inclusive GST for SC/ST candidates.
