BARC Recruitment for Technical Officer

Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) has invited online applications from eligible Indian Citizens for filling up the post of Technical Officer/C in Constituent Units of the Department of Atomic Energy (DAE) through Direct Recruitment.

Students from Civil, Chemical, Computer Science, Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechanical and various other engineering disciplines with educational/technical qualifications such as M.Sc., M.Lib., B.E. / B.Tech. from a recognized University /Board of Technical Education of Central or State Government are eligible to apply.

The age limit for the post of Technical Officer/C is minimum 18 yrs and maximum 35 yrs. Candidate must have been born not earlier than 23/05/1988 and not later than 22/05/2005.

Selection will be on the basis of performance in interview. In case, the response is more, this Centre reserves the right to restrict the number of candidates to be called for interview by conducting Computer Based Screening Test in the concerned discipline on all India basis. The decision of this Centre in this regard will be final.

Candidates are required to apply online through https://barconlineexam.com. No other means/ mode of application will be accepted.

Examinations will be conducted at various cities viz., Agartala, Ahmedabad, Allahabad, Amaravati (AP), Amritsar, Aizawl, Itanagar, Baroda (Vadodara), Bengaluru, Bhagalpur, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Coimbatore, Cuttack, Daman, Dehradun, Delhi, Dispur, Ernakulam, Gangtok, Gorakhpur, Guntur, Hyderabad, Hubli-Dharwad, Indore, Imphal, Jaipur, Jodhpur, Kancheepuram, Kanpur, Karimnagar (TS), Kavaratti, Kolkata, Kota, Kohima, Kolhapur, Leh, Lucknow, Madurai, Mumbai, Nagpur, Nashik, Panaji, Patna, Port Blair, Puducherry, Pune, Raipur, Ranchi, Rourkela, Shimla, Shillong, Srinagar, Thiruvananthapuram, Udaipur, Varanasi, Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam.

Selected candidates will have to execute a bond to complete the training and to serve constituent Units of DAE for a period of 3 years after absorption. A trainee who fails to complete the training or/and serve the Department for 3 years after absorption, will be liable to pay to the Government a sum equivalent to aggregate amount of stipend and book allowance received by him/her during the period of training along with interest thereon.

Opening date and time for submission of online application: 24-04-2023 (10.00 hrs.)
Closing date and time for receipt of online application: 22-05-2023 (23.59 hrs.)
