APPSC Recruitment: The Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission invites applications through online from the citizens of India, for filling up of 15 (fifteen) posts of Assistant Engineer (Electrical), Group ‘A’, in the Pay Matrix Level — 10 (Rs. 56,100 — Rs. 1,77,500/- PM) plus other allowances as admissible to Arunachal Pradesh Govt. Employees from time to time under the Department of Power, Govt. of Arunachal Pradesh. The vacancy position is subject to variation. Any vacancies/post(s) is received will also be included and notified before the written examination.

Eligibility

The Applicants must possess a Bachelor of Engineering OR Bachelor of Technology in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics /Telecommunication/Computer from a recognized University. However, one who have appeared OR appearing in the final semester examination shall also be eligible to apply subject to production of original certificate/ mark sheet at the time of viva-voce/Interview

Age Limit

The applicant must have attained 18 years of age and should not be more than 32 years of age as on 10-06·2021. However, the upper age limit is relaxable in accordance with orders issued by the Govt. of Arunachal Pradesh from time to time in respect of Arunachal Pradesh Scheduled Tribe and Arunachal Pradesh Govt. Employees

Selection Process

Method of Selection:

The eligible candidate will have to appear in the written examination in the following subjects followed by viva-voce.

CATEGORY – I, ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING
Section-l	(i) General Ability Test Part-A : General English and Essay Part-B : General Studies (Objective)	3 Hours	200 Marks
Section-l	(ii) Electrical Engineering(Objective)	3 Hours	300 Marks
Section – II (Conventional Papers)	Electrical Engineering Paper- I	3 Hours	200 Marks

	Personality/Viva-voce Test	–	100 Marks

CATEGORY – II, MECHANICAL ENGINEERING

For qualifying in the Written Examination, a candidate must secure a minimum of 33% marks in each subject and an aggregate total of minimum 45% marks.
From amongst the candidate s qualified in the Written Examination, the Commission will invite for the Viva Voce, numbers equal to three times the advertised posts as per merit.
In case there are a large number of applicants, the Commission may conduct an Initial Recruitment Test (OMR Based Objective Type) on Technical Subject, to limit the number of candidate s for the Written Examination to 12 times the advertised posts.
Applicants must give his/her preference of Stream/subject while filling up the application form.

Application Process:

Before filling up the ‘Online Application Form’ for the post, applicants must mandatorily register themselves with the Commission, through the facility of ‘One Time Registration (OTR)’ available on the Commission’s Website www.appsc.gov.in.
Detailed instructions for ‘One Time Registration (OTR)’ and for filling up the ‘Online Application’ are available on the above-mentioned website. Applicants are advised to submit only one application. If an applicant submits more than one application, the Commission will take cognizance of only the applications with higher RID. Fee paid against one RID shall not be adjusted against any other RID.
Applicants, with existing registration OTR, need not register again and can directly log in to fill up the Application Form using their user ID and password.
