On 30 December 2025, the Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) released an indicative advertisement for the Combined Technical Services Recruitment Examination (CTSRE) 2025 for Group B and Group C services/posts under various departments of the Government of Odisha. Educational qualification

A. For the post at S. No. 1 and 2
Diploma in Civil Engineering or an equivalent qualification from the Institution recognized by the Odisha Council of Technical Education & Vocational Training.
B. For the post at S. No. 3
Diploma in Civil Engineering from an institution recognized by the Directorate of Technical Education, Odisha and must be a computer literate.
C. For the post at S. No. 4 and S. No. 5
She/he must possess High School Certificate examination or such other qualification as are equivalent to HSC examination and NTC (Draughtsman Civil) from a recognised institution and Certificate towards Basic Computer Skill from a recognised institution and Certificate towards Auto CAD Course from a recognised institution.
D. For the post at S. No. 6
HSC with NTC pass in Draughtsman (Civil) from institutions affiliated by NCVT and knowledge in Computer Application & AutoCAD.
E. For the post at S. No. 7
Diploma in Architectural Assistantship from an Institution recognized by Odisha State Council of Technical Education & Vocational Training.
F. For the post at S. No. 8
Candidate must have passed at least Higher Secondary (+2) with Diploma/ Degree in Cinematography from any recognized University and have skills in multi camera set up and AV production.
G. For the post at S. No. 9
Candidate. must have passed at least Higher Secondary (+2) with Diploma/ Degree in Cinematography from any recognized University and have skills in Digital Photography, Photo editing, use of various related software and storage of digital images.
H. For the post at S. No. 10
Candidate must have passed at least Higher Secondary (+2) with Diploma/ Degree in Sound Recording &TV Engineering/ Sound Recording & Design from any recognized institute/ University and have skills in both field and studio recording with knowledge of digital sound Recording and sound mixing and maintenance of audio equipment and accessories.
I. For the post at S. No. 11
Candidate must have passed at least Higher Secondary (+2) with Diploma in Electronics from any recognized institution and have skills in repairing of audio visual equipment.
J. For the post at S. No. 12
Candidate must have passed at least Higher Secondary (+2) with Diploma/Degree in Video editing/ Film Production from recognized Institute/ University with skills in AV production, Multimedia and AV Archival.
K. For the post at S. No. 13
Candidate must have passed ITI in Electricals/ Electronics from any recognized institute with knowledge in operation and maintenance of audio visual equipment.
Salary Structure
The pay level for each post is mentioned in the table; selected candidates will also get DA (Dearness Allowance), HRA (House Rent Allowance), TA (Transport Allowance), along with other benefits like PF and medical benefits, as per OSSC rules.
Selection Process
OSSC has not yet released the complete notification for CTSRE; however, as per previous trends, it is expected that the selection process will consist of a written exam and DV (document verification), along with a medical examination. Candidates have to score minimum marks in order to be eligible for DV and the medical examination.
