Cochin Shipyard Limited Application Process

- Read the user manual and FAQs before you start the application.
- Complete the One time registration on the SAP online portal
- Fill in the online application form for the post you are eligible for. Only one application per post is allowed. It cannot be edited once submitted.
- Upload all required certificates, age proof, educational certificates, experience and category certificates. You will also need to upload a recent passport size photograph.
- Pay the application fee online. SC/ST/PwD candidates are exempted from fees for all posts.
- Submit the form and download the application for future use.
The application fee is INR 200 for Safety Assistant, Scaffolder Trainee and Boat Crew posts. For auto electrician posts, the fee is INR 300.
Cochin Shipyard Limited Exam Date and Selection Process
CSL has not announced a separate written exam for these posts. Instead, shortlisted candidates go through Practical/physical test. The exam dates have not been announced as of yet. Eligible candidates will be notified through email and official website after the certificate verification stage. The selection details post-wise are given below:
- Safety Assistant: Practical Test (70 marks) and Physical test, including running and push ups (30 marks)
- Scaffolder Trainee: Physical Test only (100 marks)
- Boat Crew (Serang/Engine Driver): Practical test only (100 marks)
