Training and Placement:

• Pressurised Heavy Water Reactor (PHWR) Stream
• Light Water Reactor (LWR) Stream

The placement of the selected Executive Trainees will take place either at the Pressurised Heavy Water Reactor’s ongoing or upcoming projects. Salary of NPCIL Executive Trainees:

NPCIL Salary of Executive Trainees (during the training period) is Rs. 55,000/- for a monthly stipend and Rs. 18,000/- for a one-time book allowance. After the completion of the one-year training duration, you will receive an appointment as a Scientific Officer in Group ‘A’ with NPCIL Salary pay in a pay matrix of Rs. 56,100/-. Along with this, the selected candidate receives 42% pay in the pay matrix as the Dearness Allowance (DA). The Scientific Officer receives several facilities every month. This includes transport allowance, house rent allowance, site location allowance, and annual professional update allowance. Not only this, the selected candidates receive several essential facilities as NPCIL employees.

Other facilities that the selected candidate receives include Leave travel allowance, Leave Encashment, Medical facility, Education facility, Children Education Assistance, and reimbursement for different expenses. Another set of benefits that the Nuclear Power Corporation of India’s Scientific Officer receives is in the form of retirement benefits. This includes Employees’ Provident Fund, Gratuity, Post-Retirement Medical Care, Benevolent Fund, and Group Insurance, to name a few.
