RBI JE Recruitment 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates belonging to categories other than Indian citizens (i.e., Nepal, Bhutan, Tibetan refugees, or persons of Indian origin from specified countries) must possess a valid Certificate of Eligibility issued by the Government of India.

  • Maximum Age: 30 years

Age relaxation is provided as per government rules for reserved categories.

Educational Qualification

  • A Degree in Electrical or Electrical & Electronic Engineering with 55% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwBD candidates)

Note: Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwBD categories are eligible for relaxation in minimum qualifying marks as per government norms. If the result is declared in CGPA/OGPA format, it must be converted into percentage using the formula provided by the respective university or institute.

Selection Process

Selection will be through Online Examination and Language Proficiency Test (LPT). The online examination will be conducted for a total of 300 marks and is tentatively scheduled for January 2026.
