RRB has released its official syllabus for Technician Grade I and Grade III. General Science The syllabus under this shall cover Physics, Chemistry and Life Sciences of 10th standard level.

RRB Technician Selection Process

The recruitment of technician in Grade I and Grade III will be in three stages:

  1. Computer Based Test
  2. Document Verification
  3. Medical Examination

1. RRB Technician Exam Pattern 2024: Structure and Marking Scheme

RRB has officially released the exam pattern along with structure and marking scheme. Knowing the exam pattern beforehand will help candidates strategize their study schedule within the given time frame.

The structure and marking helps candidates to prioritize the subject and prepare accordingly. Focusing on the concepts that carry the maximum weightage candidates can work towards improving the accuracy of the concept.

  • The RRB technician exam will be conducted in Computer Based Test [CBT] mode, objective types with multiple choice questions.
  • Total marks will be 100 marks.
  • Total time will be 90 minutes.
  • ⅓ Negative marking for every incorrect answer.
  • No deduction for any unanswered question.

2. RRB Technician Document Verification 2024

  • Candidates will be selected through marks and merit in CBT for document verification.
  • Appointment of the selected candidates will be final only after medical examination conducted by Railway authorities.

3. RRB Technician Medical Examination 2024

The candidates shortlisted for document verification will be called for standard medical examination by Railway authorities. The examination will ensure the medical fitness of the candidate for the respective post.
