Note:-

  1. SC/ST Certificate:‐ Candidates applying against vacancies reserved for SC/ST category should note that they have to submit the Caste Certificate issued on or before 27.09.2025 by the Competent Authority, at the time of Application Verification.
  2. OBC (NCL) Certificate:‐ Candidates applying against vacancies reserved for OBC category should note that at the time of Application Verification, they have to produce a valid OBC (NCL) Certificate issued during the Financial Year 2025‐26 in the format for appointment to posts under the Government of India,  issued  by  the  Competent  Authority,  in  support  of  their  belonging  to OBC  Community  in  the Central list of OBC and to prove that they do not belong to “Creamy Layer” of the OBCs.  A declaration shall also be submitted by the candidate before his/her appointment that he/she does not belong to the Creamy Layer of OBC. Candidates are advised to apply and obtain the aforesaid OBC (NCL) Certificate issued during financial year 2025‐26 well in time in order to be eligible for reservation benefit under this advertisement.  The candidates who will  fail  to  produce  the  prescribed OBC  (NCL)  certificate at  the  time  of Application Verification, will not be considered under respective category. OBC (Non‐Creamy Layer) certificate issued for appointment to posts under the State Government (i.e., belonging to state list of OBC) OR for admission to educational purposes will not be considered.
  3. EWS Certificate:‐ Candidates applying against vacancies reserved for EWS category should note that they have  to   submit  the EWS  certificate valid  for  the  financial year 2025-26  in  prescribed  format issued by the Competent Authority so as to prove that they belong to EWS Category,  at the time of Application Verification. Candidates are advised to apply and obtain the aforesaid EWS Certificate valid for financial year 2025‐26 well in time, in order to be eligible for reservation benefit under this advertisement.  The candidates who will fail to produce the prescribed EWS certificate at the time of Application Verification, will not be considered under respective category.
  4. Disability Certificate:‐ Candidates applying against vacancies reserved for PwBD category should note that they have to submit valid Disability Certificate issued on or before 27.09.2025 by the Competent Authority as per Government guidelines, at the time of Application Verification. PwBD candidates shall also be assessed for suitability in terms of respective Functional Requirements as mentioned against each post before appointment against identified post.
  5. Ex‐servicemen candidates  will  have  to  produce  Discharge  Certificate  at  the  time  of  Application Verification.
  6. All the certificates issued by the Competent Authority should either be in Hindi or English. Any variation in the caste name will not be accepted. For certificates issued in any language other than Hindi/English, translated copy of the same duly attested by Notary is to be submitted.

Note:

  1.  Degree or Diploma or Certificate or Membership examination should be from any of the Universities incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956. Degrees acquired in Open and Distance mode from University Grants Commission recognized  universities  or  All  India  Council  for  Technical  Education  approved courses, wherever applicable, shall also be considered.
  2.  Candidates having B.E./B. Tech/ B. Sc. (Engg.) Degree are allowed to apply where essential qualification is prescribed as Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
  3.  Candidates enrolled in final semester (where semester‐system is applicable)/ final year (where year‐system is applicable) on the cut‐off date are allowed to apply, subject to condition that they must be in possession of final result at the time of Application Verification, failing which, their candidature will not be considered for further process. The date of declaration of result/issuance of Mark Sheet shall be deemed to  be  the  date  of  acquiring  the  qualification  and  there  shall  be  no  relaxation  on  this account.  No further relaxation shall be provided in this regard.
  4.  Candidate must specifically indicate the percentage of marks obtained (calculated to the nearest two decimals) in the relevant column of the application. Where percentage of marks is not awarded by the University but only CGPA/OGPA/DGPA/CPI etc. or letter grade in a degree is awarded, the same shall be converted into percentage in terms of conversion norms of University in this regard. Candidate will have to produce the equivalence certificate/document issued by the University/Institution evidencing equivalent percentage of marks, when called for Application Verification.
  5.  No claim of possession of a qualification equivalent to the prescribed qualification shall be entertained. AAI reserves the right to take a final decision in considering an Engineering discipline as eligible in case different from those mentioned above.
  6.  Where a specialization is required in the qualifying degree in the educational qualification and the same is not specified in degree/diploma, a clarification certificate will be required from the degree issuing Authority and/or Registrar of the University/Institution clearly specifying the specialization in qualifying degree. However, final decision  regarding  selection  of  such  candidates will  be  taken  by Airports Authority of India.
  7.  In case of Integrated Master’s Degree in Engineering, candidate will have to produce a certificate at the time of Application Verification in support of possession of Bachelor’s Degree and statement of marks issued by the University/Institution, wherever applicable for the post.
  8.  Candidates can apply for multiple number of posts with separate registration for each post, subject to the condition that  they  fulfil  all  other  eligibility  criteria  required  for  the  post  and  deposit  the  fee separately for each post as applicable.

Age limit and relaxation

Age limit for unreserved candidates is 27 years as on 27/09/2025. The relaxation for various category is given in the table below.

 Note:-The date of birth as recorded in the Matriculation/Secondary Examination certificates will only be accepted.  No subsequent requests for change in date of birth will be entertained.

Remuneration

i) Pay Scale (IDA)

Junior Executive [Group‐B: E‐1 level] :    Rs.40000‐3%‐140000

ii) Emoluments:

In addition to Basic Pay, Dearness Allowance, Perks @ 35% of Basic Pay, HRA and other benefits which include CPF, Gratuity, Social Security Schemes, Medical Benefits, etc., are admissible as per AAI rules.

The Cost to Company per annum would be around Rs. 13 lakhs approximately.

iii)  Pay protection will be provided to eligible candidates who will be coming through proper channel from other CPSEs/State PSUs/Government Department immediately before joining AAI. Such pay protection will be provided as per DPE Guidelines.

Service Conditions

  1. The service conditions will be applicable as per the prevalent rules and regulations of AAI from time to time.
  2. Selected candidates on appointment are liable to be posted or transferred anywhere in India.

Selection Procedure

  1.  Age, and all other eligibility criteria shall be reckoned as on 27.09.2025 (cut-off date).
  2.  Only those candidates eligible in all respects and have qualified relevant test papers in GATE 2023 or GATE 2024 or GATE 2025 and have registered their applications on the portal of AAI shall be considered for further selection process in AAI.
  3.  On the basis of the details furnished in application form, candidates shall be shortlisted for Application Verification. The date of Application Verification will be intimated separately.
  4.  Equal weightage will be given to GATE 2023/GATE 2024/GATE 2025 Scores.
  5.  Application Reference number of the candidates shortlisted for Application Verification will be posted on AAI website only. Call Letters of the shortlisted candidates will be sent to their registered e‐mail IDs. Candidates will have to regularly visit AAI Website for link/check their registered E‐mail IDs (all folders including spam) for downloading their call letter.
  6.  During Application Verification, the candidates will have to produce his/her Original Certificates along with a proof of identity and one set of self‐attested photocopies of all the Certificates. If the identity of the candidate  is  in  doubt  or  he/she  is  not  able  to  produce  the  requisite  documents  or  there  is mismatch of information in the documents, his/her candidature will be rejected.  No additional time will be given for producing original documents.
  7.  Candidates already working  in  Central  Government/State  Government/Autonomous  Body/Public Sector Undertaking are required to produce “No Objection Certificate” from the present employer at the time of Application Verification, failing which his/her candidature will not be considered.  Other claims such as undertaking to resign in the event of selection, acknowledged copy of application for NOC / resignation letter, experience certificate etc. shall not be considered in place of NOC.
  8.  In case a candidate does not appear for Application Verification alongwith original documents, he/she shall not be eligible for provisional selection and his/her candidature shall be rejected.
  9.  On finalization of  Application  Verification,  the  provisional  selection  will  be  made  as  per  merit  list prepared on the basis of GATE Score obtained by the candidates appeared for Application Verification and subject to meeting all other eligibility criteria prescribed for the post.
  10.  Resolution of tie cases: The score obtained by the candidate in the relevant GATE examination i.e, GATE 2023 or GATE 2024 or GATE 2025 will be taken as the first deciding factor of merit i.e. Candidates having higher scores will be Ranked higher.
  11. Where GATE scores are tied, candidates older in age shall be placed higher in the merit list
  12. Where both GATE score and date of birth are tied, candidates with higher marks in qualifying degree to be placed higher in the merit list.
  13. A candidate belonging to reserved category, selected on the basis of norms as applicable to Unreserved Category, will be treated at par with an Unreserved Category candidate. Such own merit candidates belonging to reserved categories who are provisionally selected under Unreserved category will not be adjusted against a reserved vacancy.  However, their original category as registered in the online registration will remain unchanged.
  14. Application Reference Numbers of candidates provisionally selected for appointment will be declared on AAI  website      The  Offer  letter/details  about  Offer  Letter  will  be  sent  to  the  provisionally selected candidates through their registered E‐mail IDs/AAI Website. Candidates will have to visit AAI Website  for link/check  their  registered E‐mail IDs  (all  folders including spam)  for downloading  their offer letter.
  15. The candidates  selected  for  the  post  of  Junior Executive  (Electronics) will  have  to  undergo  training approximately  for a period of 06 months during which  they will be paid basic pay along with other admissible allowances. The candidates selected for the post of Junior Executive (Electronics) shall have to execute a Surety Bond for an amount of Rupees Seven Lakhs to serve Airports Authority of India during training and for a period of three years minimum after completion of training.
  16. Selection of candidates shall be provisional, subject to verification of documents relating to eligibility criteria, Character and Antecedents/Background Check, Caste Certificate/Other Backward  Classes (Non‐Creamy Layer) Certificate/EWS Certificate/ SC Certificate/ ST Certificate/Disability Certificate and other  documents  submitted  by  the  candidate  and  is  also  subject to  his/her  meeting  the  requisite medical  standards  for  the post and other  requirements, as applicable   for appointments under  the rules of AAI.
  17. Colour Blindness  and/or  night  blindness  will  be  a  rejection  criterion  for  the  vacancies  However, suitable  PwBD  candidates applying  for  identified  posts  shall  be assessed in line with  the suitability requirements mentioned in this advertisement and as prescribed vide Govt. of India orders issued  from time to time. Cost towards Medical Examination will be borne by the candidate himself/herself.

Application Fee:

  • Application Fee of Rs.300/‐ (Rs. Three Hundred only) is to be paid by the candidates through ONLINE MODE ONLY. Fee submitted by any other mode will not be accepted. However, the  SC/ST/PwBD candidates/Apprentices  who  have  successfully  completed  one  year  of  Apprenticeship  training  in AAI/Female candidates are exempted from payment of fee.
  • The application form is integrated with the payment gateway and the payment  process can be completed by following instructions:
  1. On clicking submit button, the candidate will be navigated to SBI e‐Pay Lite payment portal. The candidates are required  to  deposit  the  requisite  examination  fees  online  through  Internet Banking/Debit/Credit  Card.  Check the charges/Commission applicable  for  selected  ‘Mode  of  Payment’ and the same shall be borne by candidate.
  2. After the Payment is completed, the candidate shall be automatically redirected to application portal. Candidates may take a printout of submitted application and it is advised to keep it with them for future reference. There is no need to send the printout to AAI Office.
  3. Fees once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances. Duplicate payments, if any, will be refunded after the closing date of submission of applications.
  4. To ensure the security of your data, please close the browser window once your transaction is completed.

Application Process:

  1. Candidates are advised to carefully read the important instructions given on main instruction page of the On‐line  application  Portal  before filling  the  on‐line    Furnishing  of  wrong/false information  will  lead  to  disqualification  and  AAI  will  not  be  responsible  for  any  consequence  of furnishing of such wrong/false information.  In case of filling up of invalid information/ incomplete application/application without application fee as the case may be, the application will be summarily rejected.
  2.  Only Indian Nationals fulfilling eligibility criteria shall apply for the above posts.
  3.  Before applying for the post, the candidate should ensure that he/she fulfils the eligibility and other norms mentioned in the Advertisement and possesses the eligibility related documents as per the requirements mentioned in this advertisement.
  4.  He/she may cross  check  the  information,  such  as  Date  of  Birth,  Category,  Sub‐Category [SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/ EWS/PwBD/Ex‐Serviceman], Gender, Email ID, Mobile Number etc. furnished in the application form before finally submitting the same as no correction would be possible and will not be changed later under any circumstances.
  5.  Candidates are required  to  apply  On‐line  through  the  link  available  on  aai.aero  under  tab “CAREERS”.  No  other  means/mode  of  submission  of  applications  will  be  accepted  under  any circumstances.
  6.  Prior to applying ONLINE, candidate will have to register his/her email id and mobile number on the online portal. Once registered, the email id and mobile number cannot be changed. Communications to the candidates shall be made on their registered email id/ mobile number. Therefore, their email id  and  mobile  number  must  be  valid  and  should  remain  active  until  the  recruitment  process  is completed.  Request  for  change  of  e‐mail  ID  and  mobile  number  will  not  be  All correspondence regarding this recruitment shall be made on the registered E‐mail ID/AAI website, including intimation to download call letter for Application Verification, if shortlisted and Offer letter, if selected.
  7.  Before starting to fill up the on‐line application, the candidates should keep at hand, the following details/documents/information: ‐
  • All relevant documents/details relating to eligibility criteria viz. Educational Qualification, GATE Score Card, Caste Certificate (ST/SC/OBC (NCL)/EWS Certificate/Disability Certificate/ Discharge Certificate in case of Ex‐Servicemen/Apprentice Certificate from AAI etc.
  • Scanned copy of latest passport size colored photograph (not more than 03 months old) and scanned signature  (as  per  dimensions  given  below)  for  uploading  in  the  Three copies  of  the  same  photograph  should  be  retained  for  use  at  the  time  of  Application Verification. Candidates are advised not to change their appearance till the recruitment process is complete.
  • Details/documents to  make  Online  Payment  of  the  requisite  application  fee/intimation charges.
  • Any other details/documents required relating to eligibility criteria
  1. Candidates should enter  their  Name,  Father’s  Name  and  Date  of  Birth  as  recorded  in  the Matriculation certificate only.  In case of subsequent change in Name, candidates should indicate their changed Name only in the Online Application. However, other details should match with the Matriculation Certificate. Gazette Notification or any other legal document as applicable should be submitted at the time of Application Verification.
  2. Candidate must mention his/ her correct GATE registration number as appearing in GATE Admit Card for the respective year.
  3. Candidates are  advised  in  their  own  interest  to  apply  on‐line  much  before  the  closing  date  of application mentioned in this Advertisement and not to wait till the last date to avoid the possibility of  disconnection/inability/failure  to  log  on  the  AAI’s  website  on  account  of  heavy  load on internet/website jam/disconnection.  AAI does not assume any responsibility for the candidates not being able to submit their applications within the last date on account of the aforesaid reasons or for any other reason beyond the control of the AAI.
  4.  After submitting the online application, the candidates are required to take print out of the finally submitted online application and retain the same with them.
  5. Candidates are not required to submit any document or their online application form either by post or through email.
  6. Candidates are  advised  not  to  respond  to  unscrupulous  advertisements  appearing  in  any newspaper/websites/mobile  apps    For  authenticity  of  any  information,  candidates  may  visit detailed advertisement available on AAI website www.aai.aero only.

General Instructions

  • Before submitting the application, the candidate should ensure that he/she fulfils all the eligibility and other norms mentioned in this advertisement.
  • All correspondence regarding this recruitment shall be made on the registered email ID. The candidates are requested to check regularly their e‐mail/AAI’s website for any communication from AAI.
  • A temporary correspondence address should not be mentioned as permanent address to avoid any loss in receiving communication at any stage.
  • The decision  of  AAI Management  regarding  the  eligibility  criteria,  acceptance  or  rejection  of applications, mode of  selection  to  the post etc. shall be  final and irrevocable. Mere fulfilling of  the minimum qualification and other eligibility criteria will not vest any right on candidates for being called for Application Verification.
  • No correspondence will be entertained from the candidates found to be ineligible and not called for Application Verification or for non‐selection.

  • Information on AAI website only: All correspondence with candidates shall be done through e‐mail and all general information/subsequent changes if any, made in the recruitment advertisement shall be provided  through  AAI  website  aai.aero  only.  Responsibility of  receiving,  downloading  and printing of call letter for Application Verification/offer of appointment/any other information shall be of the candidate.  AAI will not be responsible for any loss of email sent, due to invalid/wrong email ID provided by the candidate or for delay/non‐receipt of information if a candidate fails to access his/her mail/website in  time.    Hence,  the  candidates  are  advised  to  visit  their  email  account(all  folders including spam)/AAI website regularly for further updates.
  • In case of any process violation by the candidate or if any information provided by the candidate is found false or is not found in conformity with the eligibility criteria mentioned in this advertisement, candidature of such registered candidates is liable to be rejected at any stage of recruitment process or even after recruitment/joining. If such instances go undetected during the current selection process but are detected subsequently, such disqualification will take place with retrospective affect.
  • Court of jurisdiction for any dispute will be at Delhi.
  • No query seeking advice on eligibility will be entertained.
  • The decision  of  AAI  in  respect  to  all  matters  pertaining  to  this  recruitment  would  be  final  and irrevocable on all candidates.
  • AAI reserves  the  right  to  modify/alter/restrict/enlarge/cancel  the  recruitment  process,  if  need  so arises,  without  issuing  any  further  notice  or  assigning  any  further  notice/  reasons    The decision of the AAI Management will be final and no appeal will be entertained in this regard.
  • No separate communication will be issued regarding results except to the selected candidates.
  • The possibility of occurrence of some problem in administration of the recruitment cannot be ruled out completely, which may impact selection process. In that event, every effort will be made to rectify such problem, which may include scrapping of the recruitment, if considered necessary.
