SSC JE 2025
The Staff Selection Commission has released the notification for 1731 posts in different departments of the Government of India through the SSC JE 2025 exam. The notification was released on 30th June 2025. The last date to apply for SSC JE 2025 was 21st July 2025. As per the official calendar of SSC, the SSC JE 2025 exam is scheduled on 27th-31st October 2025.
The SSC JE exam is conducted in two tiers, namely Paper I and Paper II. Both Paper I and Paper II are conducted in CBT mode. Those who clear paper II are called for medical examination and document verification.
Both Paper I and Paper II of SSC JE are objective in nature. Candidates have to choose one out of four given options.
Paper I of the SSC JE exam consists of 200 questions, each worth 1 mark. Out of 200 questions on paper I, 100 questions are of the technical domain, 50 are of general awareness, and 50 are of general intelligence.
Paper II consists of 100 questions of 300 marks; all the questions are from the technical domain.
