Eligible male and female Indian citizens including citizens of Nepal and Bhutan can participate in the application process of ITBP Technical Recruitment 2024 to fill the vacancies related to Sub-Inspector, Head Constable and Constable.

Detailed Overview of ITBP Technical Recruitment 2024

  • Sub-Inspector (Telecommunication) – Group ‘B’ (Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial)
  • Head Constable (Telecommunication) – Group ‘C’ (Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial)
  • Constable (Telecommunication) – Group ‘C’ (Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial)

These appointments are on temporary basis, and there is a high possibility of them becoming permanent in Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBPF). So read the full notification and apply as soon as possible.

Key Details:

  • Selected candidates will be liable to serve anywhere in India or abroad.
  • Applications will be accepted online only. No other mode of application submission will be entertained.

Note:-

  2. ITBPF reserves the right to modify the recruitment process or cancel/postpone it at any stage due to administrative reasons.
  3. 10% of vacancies are reserved for Ex-Servicemen. Unfilled reserved vacancies will be filled by candidates from the respective categories.

Pay scale

Sub-Inspector (Telecommunication)

(Level-6 in the Pay Matrix) Rs. 35,400/- to 1,12,400/- (as per 7th CPC).
Head Constable (Telecommunication)

(Level-4 in the Pay Matrix) Rs. 25,500/- to 81,100/- (as per 7th CPC).
Constable (Telecommunication) (Level-3 in the Pay Matrix) Rs. 21,700/- to 69,100/- (as per 7th CPC)

 

Other allowances

  • The post includes benefits such as Dearness Allowance, Special Compensatory Allowance (for specified border areas), Ration Money Allowance, free accommodation or HRA, Leave Travel Concession, Transport Allowance, Free Medical Facilities, and other allowances as per the rules and instructions applicable in the Force.
  • On appointment the candidates shall be entitled for the pension benefits as per the “New Restructured Defined Contributory Pension Scheme” applicable for the new entrants to the Central Government Services w.e.f. 01/01/2004.

Eligibility:

Candidates must meet the required educational qualifications and age criteria as specified in the official notification.

Age Limit:

  • Sub-Inspector – Between 20 to 25 years.
  • Head Constable – Between 18 to 25 years.
  • Constable – Between 18 to 23 years.

How to apply?

  • Eligible candidates must apply online through the ITBPF website: https://recruitment.itbpolice.nic.in. Before applying, carefully read the instructions and ensure that a valid and active email ID and mobile number are provided. Offline applications will not be accepted and will be rejected.
  • Candidates must complete their profile on the ITBPF recruitment website, including information such as gender, category (SC/ST/OBC, etc.), employment status, and riot-affected status, before submitting their application.

Note:

Providing false or incorrect information will result in the cancellation of the application, and no changes will be permitted later.

Application Fee:

Candidates from UR, OBC, and EWS categories:

  • Sub-Inspector (Telecommunication): ₹200/- (Rupees Two Hundred).
  • Head Constable & Constable (Telecommunication): ₹100/- (Rupees One Hundred).
  • Fee payment must be made online via the payment gateway on https://recruitment.itbpolice.nic.in.

Exempted from paying the application fee:

  • Scheduled Caste (SC) candidates.
  • Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates.
  • Ex-Servicemen.
  • Female candidates.

Note:-

  • Fees once paid by candidates shall not be refunded and it shall not be refunded in the event of cancellation of notified vacancies.
  • Fee paid by modes other than online mode will not be accepted and the applications of such candidate will be rejected forthright. Besides, above, the payment made in such cases shall stand forfeited.

Selection Process:

Candidates will have to undergo the following recruitment test

  • Physical Efficiency Test (PET) those candidates
  • Written Examination
  • Verification of Original Documents
  • Detailed Medical Examination
  1. Candidates who pass the Physical Standard Test will proceed to the written examination.
  2. Admit cards, indicating the date and venue of the exam, will be issued online and must be downloaded from https://recruitment.itbpolice.nic.in.
  3. The written examination will carry 100 marks and consist of objective-type Multiple Choice Questions.
  4. The exam format, either OMR-based or Computer-Based Test (CBT), will be determined by ITBPF.

Note:

The minimum cut off percentage of qualifying marks of written examination.

  • General/EWS/Ex-servicemen Category – 35%
  • SC/ST/OBC (NCL) Category – 33%
