• Salary: The monthly salary for volunteer is ₹62,000 – ₹80,000/.

• Pay Scale: At the time of training, all the candidates would be paid ₹17,000/-

After permanent placement, they would be paid in the scale of ₹20,600- ₹46,500.

• Other facilities: Extra facilities are also provided by the organisation to the candidates like DA, HRA/ subsidised housing and other basic facilities like medical facilities, gratuity, contributory provident fund etc admissible as per rules of the company.
• Placement: The final placement of posting will be decided after the completion of training. MTNL operates mainly in Delhi and Mumbai. Later in service the candidates are liable for posting and transfer to any section/ unit / place within the operational area of MTNL.
• Service Agreement: The selected candidates shall be required to execute a service agreement bond of two lakhs rupees to serve the company for at least 5 years after successful completion of training period.

MTNL Junior Telecom Officer Selection Procedure:

The candidates would be selected on the basis on their GATE scores, which will be followed by the personal interview. The combined performance of the two will determine the final selection.  The personal interview will be conducted by the concerned recruitment authority.

• Training & Probation: After joining the candidates shall be required to undergo on-the -job induction training for a period of one year. After successful completion of the training the candidates will be under probation of 1 year. They shall be conformed in service after successful completion of probation and other related formalities I.e two years after joining the organization.
