Relaxation & Concession:

The OPTCL Recruitment 2023 offers reservations to the candidates applying for the post of Management Trainees as per the latest guidelines of the Government of Odisha. Individuals with benchmark disability must submit medical certificates to be accepted for the facilities offered for the reserved candidates. Health criteria:

As per the norms and standards of the Medical Fitness of OPTCL, the candidates must possess physical and mental fitness in the compulsory Pre-Employment Medical Examination. The candidates must complete this examination as per the specified date. If the candidate fails to do so, his/her application will not progress to the later stages.

Now comes the most important part: The compensation Package (Salary as a Management Trainee with OPTCL Recruitment 2023).

Salary:

During the training period, the compensation package for a Management Trainee is Rs. 50,000/-. The concerned authorities will receive this training at one of the OPTCL field units including induction training at the Power Training Centre (PTC) located in Chandaka, Bhubaneswar.

After completion of the one-year training, the candidate will receive the designation of Assistant Manager (Electrical) with a monthly amount ranging from Rs. 56,100 to Rs. 1,77,500/-. The initial basic pay is Rs. 56,100/-. Apart from this, the candidate will also receive several facilities with basic pay. This includes Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), Medical and Conveyance Allowance, Medical Insurance, Leave Travel Allowance (LTA), and National Pension System (NPS). This brings the candidate’s CTC selected for this post up to Rs. 12 Lacs.

To avail all the mentioned facilities, the selected candidates must sign up a service agreement bond with the OPTCL to complete the training and serve the organization for 3 years. The amount associated with the service agreement bond is Rs. 3,00,000/- + GST, which varies from one category to another.

General guidelines:

Candidates must register themselves with the official OPTCL website via online mode. You must carefully add the Registration Number from your GATE 2023 admit card while filling up the application form. The concerned authorities do not accept any requests related to the GATE 2023 Registration number and name change after the successful submission of the application form. Candidates must choose an active email at the time of registration and application submission. You must also utilize the alternative email facility as the communication for this recruitment will take place via email. Once the candidate submits the application, he/she receives the unique OPTCL Application Number, which is also present in the completed application form.

The email id that the candidate enters in the application form is the Login ID, whereas the unique OPTCL application number is the password to login into the online application systems of OPTCL.
