SSC JE 2026 is one of the most sought-after government engineering recruitment exams which is conducted in India by the Staff Selection Commission to fill the vacancies for the post of the junior engineer in departments such as CPWD, MES, BRO and CWC across the civil, mechanical and electrical engineering.
As the SSC JE 2026 notification will be released soon on the official website, one of the smartest things a candidate can do before diving into the books is study the SSC JE subject-wise weightage.
A candidate must know about which topic carries the most marks; this will help them to prioritise the revision, spend more time over high-weightage topics and avoid the common mistake of spreading preparation too thin across the entire syllabus.
What is SSC JE 2026?
The SSC JE 2026 notification is expected to be released soon on the official website Candidates who have completed their engineering/diploma in civil, mechanical, or electrical engineering are eligible for this recruitment. Candidates up to the age of 32 years are eligible for this recruitment.
