Naman secured AIR 5 in GATE 2024 and holds a degree in B.Tech. from Aligarh Muslim University. He enrolled himself in the MADE EASY live online course, an online test series, and a quick revision course. Naman sets an example of how one can prepare for the exam while on the job. He suggests that the test series makes the aspirants aware of the exam pattern. Recorded classes were his preferred option, as they gave him the advantage of meeting his weekly study targets. He restricted himself to limited sections of social media handles and suggested doing the same. Also, dedication and consistency are the keys to success, so aspirants must maintain their consistency in their preparation.

Mohd Saif, AIR 9 Electrical Engineering [EE]

Mohd Saif coming from a rural area managed to complete his B. Tech in 2023 from Aligarh Muslim University and secured AIR 9 in GATE 2024. He aspires for a government job and initiated his GATE preparation in his third year. He believed his own notes, short notes, PYQs, and test series were sufficient for his preparation. With his experience, he emphasizes the importance of time management for all subjects, as he struggled to manage his time. He believes that one year is sufficient for GATE, like 5–6 months to complete the syllabus and 5–6 months fully dedicated to revision, PYQs, and test series. Saif insists on attempting every question in the PYQs several times. He enrolled in the MADE EASY test series, which boosted his rank. He suggests regular revision at regular intervals, with full revision being mandatory at least 6-7 times within a year.

Pramod Kumar Maurya, AIR 12 Electrical Engineering [EE]

Pramod secured AIR 12 in the Electrical Engineering GATE 2024 exam and holds a B.Tech degree from Giani Zail Singh College of Engineering and Technology, Bathinda. Pramod enrolled himself in the Rank Improvement Batch, which helped him improve his previous GATE ranks. His main focus was on practice, as he had restarted his GATE preparation. He suggests attempting PYQs multiple times and making short notes is very important, especially if the formulas will be on fingertips. For him, workbooks from MADE EASY are well designed with new questions, which boosted his confidence. He analyzed and changed his strategy for solving the test series because he wasn’t achieving the desired rank, and he suggested others do the same if necessary. He insists on maintaining consistency and dedication and giving a maximum of 10 hours for study to achieve the desired result.
