GATE 2025 Electronics and Communication Engineering
Electronics and Communication Engineering is the study of electronic devices, including their design, development, and maintenance. Also involves manufacturing and assembling communication and broadcasting systems. Concepts such as electrical circuits, digital and analog circuits, communication systems, electromagnetism, etc. are supposed to be learned in electronics engineering.

Pentela Jaswanth Bhavani, AIR 6, Electronics & Communication Engg [EC]
Jaswanth graduated with a B.Tech. from NIT Jamshedpur in 2023. His father is a lawyer, and his mother is a homemaker. Hailing from Narasannapeta, Andhra Pradesh, this is Jaswanth’s second attempt. In 2024 he secured an AIR of around 1800. After that he decided to focus on self-study. He scored 78.67 marks in GATE EC 2024. He attempted 56 questions, of which only 5 were incorrect.
Jaswanth mentioned in his interview that his GATE journey started in his second and third years of graduation. He completed 5-6 subjects during his college years. He relied on YouTube for his preparation. After completing the syllabus, he practiced previous year papers worth 35 years. He mentioned that he completed his entire syllabus.
Regarding his approach to the exam, Jaswanth mentioned that he started with question 1 and attempted the entire exam in one go. He suggested that aspirants should stick to their chosen resources. He also emphasized MADE EASY’s Test Series. According to him, the MADE EASY test series is quite challenging.
Regarding his future plans, Jaswanth aims to pursue an M.Tech in VLSI from a prestigious institution. He also aims to pursue ESE.
