UPPSC Polytechnic Lecturer Selection Process 2026-27
UPPSC Polytechnic Lecturer Selection Process 2026-27 has the following stages:
Stage 1: Written examination for paper 1 and paper 2
This written examination is conducted by the UPPSC, which includes 2 papers, i.e.
Paper 1: General studies and teaching aptitude Paper 2: Subject-specific, i.e. engineering or non-engineering
Under this stage, the examination is objective-based. Under this stage, candidates need to score above the cutoff marks if they wish to qualify for the next stage.
Stage 2: Personality Test
The students who have qualified for the written test are called for the interview round by the organization. The interview or personality test will not access the subject’s knowledge but will also assess the communication skills, teaching ability, problem-solving skills and academic orientation.
Stage 3: Document verification and medical test
As soon as the interview round is concluded, the students who are selected will undergo the document verification process and medical test process. Furthermore, during the document verification, the candidates need to give all the educational certificates, category certificates, identification proofs and other experience certificates.
The medical test will be conducted by the UPPSC. It will ensure that the candidates must meet the physical and health standards which are required for the teaching roles.
