MT Finance: The BDL recruitment team has divided the essential qualification in this into three parts. First, the candidates must have secured pass marks in the final examination conducted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) or pass marks in the final examination directed by the Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India (ICWAI). Lastly, the candidate must have secured a first-class MBA or equivalent/Post Graduate Diploma/Post Graduate degree in Finance discipline of 2 years duration from a Government recognized university or institute.

MT (HR): The candidate must achieve a first-class MBA or equivalent/Post Graduate Diploma/Post Graduate Degree in HR/PM&IR/Personnel Management/Industrial Relations/Social Science/Social Work of 2 years duration from University/Institution recognized by the Government of India.

Other roles such as Assistant Manager (Safety), Deputy General Manager (New Projects), and General Manager (HR) require similar qualifications as mentioned above depending on their respective streams.

Experience after the essential qualification:

Management trainee: It is important to note that the post of management trainee does not require post qualification experience unlike the senior roles associated with the BDL careers.

Assistant Manager (Safety): The candidate must have practical experience as a supervisor in a factory for at least 2 years and 3 years for the BE/B.Tech candidates or B.Sc (Physics/Chemistry) candidates. This position also requires the candidate to know fluent Telugu language.

Deputy General Manager (New Projects): The candidate must have at least 14 years of executive experience in the medium/heavy industries in PSUs/Government agencies after the basic qualification. In addition, the respective candidate must have one year of service in an equivalent post or an immediate lower pay scale. You must understand that the nature of experience must include experience in the areas such as Project Planning, R&D, Production Units, Workshops, Quality Assurance, Supply Chain or Inventory Management, and business development.

The desirable qualification for the Deputy General Manager post is PG Diploma in Production/Manufacturing/Project Management.

General Manager (HR): Candidates aiming to enroll in this post must possess 18 years of executive experience in the heavy or medium industries after essential qualifications with at least one year of experience in the equivalent post or even one with a lower pay scale.
