Educational Qualifications

A: Category – I Graduate Apprentices:

First Class Engineering Degree [Full Time Course] in the respective discipline with 6.3 CGPA from a recognized Indian University/institute (Relaxed to 5.3 CGPA for SC/ST/PWD candidates and relaxation applicable for reserved posts only).

B: Category -II Technician (Diploma) Apprentices:

 First Class Diploma in Engineering (Full Time Course) in the respective discipline with 60% marks from State Board of Technical Education/Recognized Indian University (Relaxed to 50% marks for SC/ST/PWD candidates and relaxation applicable for reserved posts only).

 

Age

18-27 Years as on 01 .09.2021 (DOB between 01 .09.1994 to 01 .09.2003). Relaxation to reserved category candidates as per guidelines in this regard.

 

Reservation of Vacancies

Guidelines under the Apprentices Act on Reservation for SC/ST/OBC/PWD will be followed. Those who are claiming reservation under SC/ST/OBC/PWD shall provide a certificate as per the standard format prescribed by the Government, failing which their claim for reservation will be considered as ‘General’ category only. Candidates claiming reservation under the OBC category should bring an OBC certificate (non-creamy layer) as per the Govt. prescribed format from the certificate issuing authority of Tahsildar. The applicable certificates need to be produced at the time of the interview.

 

Duration of Training

The duration of Apprenticeship training will be for a period of one year as per the Apprentices (Amendment) Act 1973.

Previous Training/Experience

Candidates who have already undergone or are currently undergoing apprenticeship under Apprentices (Amendment) Act 1973, and/or having one year or more experience are not eligible to apply.

 

 Selection Procedure

Selection will be based on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination and interview. The final merit list would be prepared according to categories General/ SC / ST I OBC I PWD on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates. Engagement for apprenticeship training will be subject to the selected candidates clearing the medical examination.

 

Procedure for Registration and Submission of Application

For students who have already enrolled in the National Web Portal and having login details	For students who have not so far enrolled in the National Web Portal
After verification of student enrolment by BOAT, a student will be able to log in and apply. Step 1: Login Click Establishment Request Menu Click Find Establishment Upload Resume Choose Establishment name Type “Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd, Mumbai Refinery” Reg id of Establishment “WMHMCC000004” and search Click apply Click apply again	Step 1: Go to www.mhrdnats.gov.in for graduate or diploma Click Enroll Complete the application form A unique Enrolment Number for each student will be generated. Please note: Please wait for at least one day for enrollment verification and approval. After this student can proceed to Step 2.
	Step 2: Login Click Establishment Request Menu Click Find Establishment Upload Resume Choose Establishment name Type “Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd, Mumbai Refinery” Reg id of Establishment “WMHMCC000004” and search Click apply Click apply again

 

Important Instructions

1. Upon completion of the apprenticeship period Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd shall have no obligation to offer employment to such apprentices nor can an apprentice claim right for employment on the grounds of completion of Apprenticeship.

2. Candidates should have taken at least one dose of vaccination at the time of coming for the interview. Candidates must carry with them the COVID-19 vaccination certificate issued by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of India.
3. AN INCOMPLETE / ERRONEOUS ONLINE APPLICATION RECEIVED AFTER THE DUE DATE WILL BE REJECTED.
4. No further communication in this regard will be entertained.

5. Board of Apprenticeship Training (WR) has not entrusted/authorized any individual organization to coordinate (or) liaison their work. Candidates beware of touts and BOAT is not responsible for such unwanted incidents.
6. Canvassing / Pressuring through any source will disqualify the candidature and their name will be removed from the official records without prior intimation and this Board will not be responsible for such cases.
7. The number of positions mentioned above is indicative and may increase or decrease at the absolute discretion of the Corporation.
8. Persons employed with Government or Semi-Government Organizations/Public Sector Undertakings should submit NOC at the time of interview.
9. The Management reserves the right to call for interviews only those who in its opinion are likely to be suitable. Management may at its discretion, raise/relax the eligibility standard to restrict the number of candidates or to make available a sufficient number of candidates to be called for interview.
