Recruitment of Technical Officer
ECIL Recruitment 2021: Electronics Corporation of India Limited is a leading Schedule-A Public Sector Enterprise (A Unit of the Department of Atomic Energy) engaged in the area of Strategic Electronics with a thrust on innovation & indigenization. Electronics Corporation of India Limited has diversified into strategic sectors such as Nuclear, Defence, Security, Aerospace, Information Technology, Telecom, and e-Governance. Electronics Corporation of India Limited is looking for dynamic, experienced, and result-oriented personnel for the following positions purely on a contract basis to work at Electronic Manufacturing Services Division (EMSD), other Divisions & sites across India.

Consolidated Contract Pay
Candidates will be paid a consolidated remuneration of Rs. 25,000/- for 1st year, Rs. 28,000/- for 2nd year, and 31,000/- for 3rd to 5th year of contract respectively.
Other Benefits:
During a deployment to the sites, selected candidates will also be eligible for TA/DA and other benefits in addition to the above-consolidated pay as per Company Rules.
Contract Period
The tenure of the contract for the above positions would be for a period of one (1) year extendable upto five (5) years depending upon the project requirements and performance of the candidate (or) coterminous with the project whichever is earlier.
Essential Qualification
A First-Class Engineering Degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering / Electrical Electronics Engineering / Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering / Computer Science Engineering/ Information Technology with minimum 60% marks in aggregate from any recognized Institution / University.
Experience
The candidate should have a minimum of one year Post Qualification experience out of which 6 months should be industrial experience. Experience in sealing, distribution, polling, commissioning, repair, and maintenance of EVMs, VVPATs including FLC or having Industrial exposure in Production, Repair/Maintenance of Electronic equipment will be preferred. 1 year of apprenticeship training shall also be considered as experience.
Selection Process
The merit list will be prepared, based on the aggregate percentage obtained in BE/ B Tech and work experience, as indicated below: –
- 80% of Marks will be allotted for aggregate marks scored in BE/ B Tech. obtained in Essential educational qualification.
- 20% Marks will be allocated for work experience (5 Marks for min. stipulated work experience and additional 2.50 marks for every additional 06 months of experience up to a max of 20 marks)
In case of any tie in the above, class 12th followed by 10th and DOB shall be considered for arriving at the final merit.
Shortlisted candidates will be called for the Document Verification at New Delhi zonal Office. Candidates will be shortlisted in the order of merit based on their aggregate marks obtained in the degree in required qualification and number of years of experience as indicated herein above in the ratio of 1:2.
Reservations and Relaxations
Reservations & Age relaxations will be as per Govt., directives for SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PWD.
Class: For SC/ST Candidates the minimum marks in the qualifying examination shall be 50%.
Age: Upper Age limit as of 30.11.2021 should not be more than 30 years for General & EWS candidates. The upper age limit will be relaxed for SC, ST candidates by 5 years and for OBC candidates by 3 years. For candidates belonging to PWD category having a minimum of 40% disability or more, will get 10 years’ relaxation in addition to the relaxation applicable to the categories mentioned above.
The upper age limit is further relaxed by 5 years for candidates who had ordinarily been domiciled in the State of Jammu & Kashmir from 01.01.1980 to 31.12.1989.
Application Process
Eligible candidates have to apply ON-LINE through the website: “http://careers.ecil.co.in” for getting connected to advertisement details and online application or alternatively apply through our website: “www.ecil.co.in” by selecting ‘Careers’ followed by ‘e-Recruitment’. The online application process will be operational from 11.12.2021 (1400 hrs.) to 21.12.2021 (1600 hrs.).
After applying online, the candidate is required to take the printout of the registered on-line application form with system generated application serial number. Please note down your application serial number for the post applied, for future reference without fail. The candidate can take a re-print of his/her registered on-line application form before the last date for Online registration.
There will be no separate communication to any candidate on their non-selection at any stage.
The application is liable for rejection at any stage of the recruitment process in case it is submitted with incorrect information. Further, if any other shortcoming is noticed (either at the instance of a candidate or otherwise) even after the contract appointment, his/her services are liable for termination forthwith. The candidate has to quote his/her system-generated online application number for all future correspondence.
Candidates should note that, if at any stage of the recruitment process, it is found that the candidate has submitted any false/fabricated information/documents will entail summary rejection of his/ her candidature.
The selected candidates will have to join immediately from the date of receipt of the provisional offer of appointment letter.
General Conditions
- Before applying, the candidate should read the complete advertisement carefully and ensure that he/she has fulfilled the eligibility criteria of the post stated in the advertisement in all respects. In case if it is noticed that the candidate has furnished false or incorrect information with respect to eligibility criteria such candidates will not be allowed to join even after the issue of the provisional offer letter.
- Candidates have to compulsorily provide the CGPA conversion to the percentage of marks as per the guidelines provided by their university.
- The Degree of Disability for PwD Candidates is 40% & above.
- The Management reserves the right to relax the stipulated criteria in case of exceptional candidates and limit the number of candidates to be called to fill the posts.
- All qualifications should be from an Indian University/Institute recognized by AICTE/Appropriate Statutory Authority.
- Only online registered applications will be accepted.
- The selected candidates may be assigned any activities to work at any sites and locations anywhere in India.
- The application is liable for rejection at any stage of the recruitment process in case of suppression of facts/ furnishing of false information.
