  1. Candidates having dual /combination degree namely Automobile Engg, Mechatronics, Construction Engg. etc., in combination with the specified discipline mentioned above are not eligible to apply. These exclusions are only indicative and not exhaustive. No equivalent qualifications shall be accepted.
  2. Candidates should have passed the qualifying degree examination, as per Para-2. Final Year/Semester students (expecting final and consolidated Mark sheet) are eligible to apply provided they have obtained the requisite percentage as mentioned at Para-2, in aggregate of all semesters/years up to pre-final examination. However, if they are shortlisted for an interview, they have to mandatorily produce the Degree -Certificate or consolidated mark sheet specifying their final percentage of marks at the time of the Document Verification process. In case the final percentage is not available or not meeting the requisite criteria, their candidature will be canceled and No TA Claim will be paid to such candidates.
  3. First Class (minimum 65%) full-time BE/ B Tech from an institute or University Recognized by AICTE or the Govt., of India in the discipline of ECE, Mechanical, CSE.
  4. Minimum aggregate percentage of marks in the essential qualification as indicated above shall be aggregate of all semesters to be calculated taking an average of all semesters/years, irrespective of the weightage to any particular semester/year by the Institute/University. The aggregate percentage of marks SHALL NOT BE rounded off (for example 64.99 % not to be rounded off as 65%).
  5. In case of CGPA/OGPA/Grade is awarded by the university, the equivalent percentage shall be derived based on the formula provided by the University for converting the grade to the percentage by the candidate. If no formula is prescribed by the University, the equivalence in percentage of marks will be established by multiplying the CGPA/OGPA/Grade by a factor of 10 subjects to the condition that the candidate has to submit documentary proof during the Document Verification process that the University does not have any formula for conversion of CGPA/OGPA/Grade to percentage.

 

Age Limit

AGE: UPPER AGE LIMIT AS ON LAST DATE OF SUBMISSION OF ONLINE APPLICATION (i.e.,14.05.2022) SHOULD NOT BE MORE THAN 25 YEARS.

 

Emoluments

The selected candidates will undergo training for a period of one year on a consolidated stipend of Rs.54, 880/- per month. They are also entitled for Provident Fund and leave as per rules in force of the Company. On successful completion of training, they will be absorbed as Engineer in the scale of pay of Rs.40,000-3%-1,40,000/- and will be entitled to other benefits like DA, HRA & Fringe benefits etc., as per policy in force from time to time.

 

Bond

The selected candidates shall be required to execute a Surety & Indemnity Bond on nonjudicial stamp paper of Rs.100/- to serve the Company for a period of 4 years (1 year as Trainee + 3 years as Engineer). The amount payable for breach of contract is Rupees Four Lakhs only.

 

Reservation of Posts

Reservation for SC, ST, OBC [Non-creamy layer], EWS (Economically Weaker Section), PwD categories will be applicable as per the Govt., guidelines from time to time. PwD candidates will be drawn from any of the disciplines.

The candidates belonging to EWS, who are not covered under the reservation for SCs, STs and OBCs shall get 10% reservation.

Relaxation & Exemption

  1. Reservations for SC/ST/OBC (NCL)/EWS and PwD will be as per Government of India Guidelines.
  2. Age: Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC candidates. The upper age limit is further relaxable by 10 years for Persons with Disabilities (degree of disability 40% or above) and 5 years for the candidates who had ordinarily been domiciled in the state of Jammu & Kashmir from 01/01/1980 to 31/12/1989.
  3. Qualification: The candidates belonging to UR/OBC/EWS category should possess First class with minimum 65% marks in (B Tech./BE) relaxable to 2nd class with 55% marks for SC/ST candidates.

 

Selection Process

The selection methodology will comprise two-stage selection process i.e. – Marks as per GATE 2022 score and Personal Interview.

  1. GATE 2022 score: Shortlisting of candidates for Personal Interviews will be done in order of merit based on the marks obtained in GATE 2022 examination. The minimum number of candidates called for Interviews will be in the ratio of 1:4. In case of more than one candidate having same GATE score, then the candidate who has scored higher marks in the B Tech./BE will be called for an interview.
  2. Personal Interview: Only the Short-Listed candidates will be called for Personal Interview in Hyderabad. The candidates will be allowed to take part in the Personal Interview process only after successful completion of the Document Verification process. The date, time and venue of interview will be intimated by mail / SMS. The same will be hosted on our website. The Call letter for the Personal Interview indicating the time and venue for the candidates can be downloaded from ECIL website (http://careers.ecil.co.in).
  3. The final merit list of candidates shall be prepared based on GATE-2022 score and marks obtained by the candidates in the Personal Interview. The weightage of GATE Score 2022 & Interview is 50:50 respectively and 60% in overall for selection of candidates.
  4. Equal Nos of candidates shall be kept in panel which shall be valid for a period of 3 months from the date of its approval.
  5. Clarification on ECIL recruitment process if any may be sought at hrrect@ecil.co.in. No other form of communication shall be entertained. However, pendency of any query shall not result in extension of scheduled dates of the ECIL recruitment process in any circumstances.
  6. The decision of ECIL in all matters relating to the conduct of Personal Interview and preparation of merit list will be final and binding on the candidates and no enquiry/correspondence will be entertained in this regard.

The following documents shall be produced in original with a set of self-attested photocopies for Document Verification before the Personal Interview. Failure to do so will summarily result into rejection of his/ her candidature.

  1. On-line registered application form duly signed and with recent colour passport size photo affixed.
  2. All original certificates in support of his / her date of birth, qualification, latest caste certificates etc., if any along with a set of photocopies.
  3. A valid certificate for Persons with Disabilities (PWD);
  4. Relevant certificate If claiming age relaxation as candidate from J&K,
  5. GATE 2022 score Card as applicable.
  6. GATE 2022 Admit Card as applicable.
  7. Call letter for Personal Interview.
  8. Candidate employed in Central/State Government/Public Sector Enterprises/Autonomous bodies, should mandatorily produce the NO OBJECTION CERTIFICATE or route their application through proper channel at the time of interview failing which they will not be allowed to appear for the Personal Interview.
  9. Copy of Application Fee remittance (For both Online/Offline modes), where-ever applicable.

 

General Instructions

  1. Before applying, candidate should read the complete advertisement carefully and ensure that he/she fulfills eligibility criteria in all respects for post applied for. In case at any stage of the ECIL recruitment process, it is found that the information furnished by a candidate is incomplete, incorrect, or not in the format prescribed or has been deliberately suppressed, the candidature will be summarily rejected.
  2. Candidates belonging to General/OBC category (including non-creamy layer)/EWS have to pay a non-refundable application fee of Rs. 500/- (Rupees Five Hundred only). Applicable Bank charges/Taxes, if any, has to be borne by the candidates. Nonpayment of fees will result in rejection of application. SC, ST, PWD, and regular employees of ECIL, which includes Technical Officer on Fixed Term Contract (currently engaged with ECIL) within stipulated age limit are exempted from payment of Application fee.
  3. Candidates belongs to SC / ST/ OBC / Persons with Disabilities (PwD)/EWS categories shall be mandatorily required to produce original certificates Issued by the Competent Authority, in the format as prescribed by Govt. of India, along with photocopy of the same, at the time of Document Verification. Candidates belonging to OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) category only, shall be eligible to apply against OBC category. OBC candidates seeking reservation should submit certificate (not older than 06 months) issued by the Competent Authority in the format prescribed by Govt. India.
  4. Only on-line applications shall be accepted. d) Selected candidates can be posted to any of the locations across India to serve the company.
  5. To & fro Sleeper Class railway fare is admissible to the Out-station candidates who attend the interview from station mentioned in the address for correspondence given in the application form (within India) to Hyderabad, subject to production of documentary proof. Travel fare Claim will be paid through Transfer/NEFT to individual SB A/c subject to meeting the eligibility. No local travel cost will be reimbursed.

  7. All correspondence shall only be made through E-mail ID, as furnished by the applicant in the online application form.
  8. Electronics Corporation of India Limited reserves the right to cancel/restrict/enlarge/ modify the ECIL recruitment process, if the need so arises, without assigning any reason thereof.
  9. Any Legal proceeding in respect of any matter/claim or dispute arising out of this advertisement and/or any application in response thereto can be instituted limited to the Courts at GHMC (Kapra Circle) which alone shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
  10. Any query under RTI shall be entertained only up to six months from the date of publication of the final results on our website.
  11. In case of any ambiguity/dispute on account of interpretation of advertisement in a version other than English, the English version shall prevail.
  12. Canvassing in any form will result into disqualification.
  13. Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply.
  14. No correspondence will be entertained about the outcome of the application, at any stage.
  15. Mere issue of call letter for Personal Interview does not confer any right of acceptance of candidature and should not be construed as an acknowledgment of fulfilling the eligibility criteria.

 

Application Process

  1. Eligible candidates including Internal Employees have to apply ‘ON-LINE’ through our website http://careers.ecil.co.in, alternatively, follow www.ecil.co.in > Careers > e-ECIL Recruitment for advertisement details. The on-line application process will be operational from 23/04/2022 (14.00 hrs.) to 14/05/2022 (14.00 hrs.).
  2. After completing on-line application process, the candidate is assigned a system generated application number to be used for any future reference.
  3. Candidate is required to take the print out of registered on-line application form which will be available up to last date for On-line registration.
  4. The candidate has to sign on print-out of on-line registered application form by affixing the recent colour passport size photograph (4X3 cm) and bring the self-attested copies of date of birth, educational qualifications, experience, Caste & PwD (if any) along with copy of fee remittance invariably at the time of document verification before interview.
  5. Candidate must upload Photo & Signature (both are in ‘jpeg’ format only) as per the following specifications:
  • Photograph must be a formal & recent colour passport size (4X3 Cm.) with blue background only. Size of the Photograph & Signature should be less than 100kb & 50kb respectively.

 

How to make a payment?

General candidates (UR)/EWS/OBC are required to pay a fee of 500/- (Rupees Five hundred only) as an Application Fee.

In case of any mistake made by the candidate on payment, the Application Fee will not be paid back under any circumstances. The instructions for paying the application fee are available in the e-ECIL Recruitment web page under Advt. No. 08/2022.

Note: The payment of the Application Fee through Online or Offline, the photocopy of the Application Fee Remittance Slip has to be enclosed along with the requisite enclosures at the time of the Document Verification process [wherever applicable]

  1. Candidate shall possess a valid GATE-2022 registration number as mentioned in GATE-2022 Admit Card.
  2. Candidates possessing valid GATE 2022 scores shall only be eligible.
