ESE 2025 Vacancies Revised to 457 After IRMS Recruitment

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has already announced 232 vacancies for the upcoming session. Additionally, recruitment for 225 posts under the Indian Railway Management Service (IRMS) has now been declared, and the selection will be made through ESE 2025. ESE 2024 Final Result Out

Recruitment based on the results of this examination will be conducted for Services/Posts under the following categories:

  • Category I: Civil Engineering
  • Category II: Mechanical Engineering
  • Category III: Electrical Engineering
  • Category IV: Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering

The expected number of vacancies to be filled through the Engineering Services Examination (ESE 2025) is approximately 457, which includes 22 vacancies reserved for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD). These 22 vacancies will be allocated as follows:

  • 13 vacancies for Locomotor Disability (including individuals cured of leprosy, those with dwarfism, acid attack victims, and those with muscular dystrophy)
  • 9 vacancies for individuals who are Hard of Hearing.

Note: The total number of vacancies is subject to change.

Reservations will also be provided for candidates from Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Other Backward Classes (OBC), Economically Weaker Section (EWS), and Persons with Benchmark Disabilities, as per the Government of India’s regulations.
