Engagement of Trainee Apprentice

Online applications are invited by Indian Railway Rail Wheel Plant, Bela from the candidates having qualification of B.Tech/B.Sc. in Mechanical, Electrical& Electronics/ Instrumentation/Computer/IT Engineering. Or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical & Electronics/Instrumentation/Computer/IT Apprentices under Nation Apprentice Training Scheme, a scheme under ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India.

Preference will be given to those candidates who reside in nearby districts such as Saran, Vaishali and Patna of Bihar.

Note*

1. PWD and Ex-Servicemen are not separate but included in the total number of slots.2. Candidates who have already undergone or currently undergoing Apprenticeship training under National Apprentice Training Scheme in any Government/Public Sector Undertaking/Private Industrial Organization are not eligible to apply.

Important Instructions:

  1. Candidates who have passed out within the last 3 years (2017-2018, 2018-2019 and 2019-2020) will be considered for Indian Railway Rail Wheel Plant, Bela.
  2. Candidates with job experience for a period of 1 year or more will not be considered for enrolment as Trainee Apprentice of Indian Railway Rail Wheel Plant, Bela.
  3. When the prescribed number of persons belonging to the Scheduled Castes (SC) are not available. it will be filled by Scheduled Tribes candidates (ST). For Scheduled Tribes slots, in case Scheduled Tribes candidates are not available, they will be filled by Scheduled Castes candidates. If the prescribed training slots for SC/ST candidates cannot be filled even in the above given manner, then the training slots so lying unfilled will be filled by persons not belonging to the Scheduled Castes or the Scheduled Tribes i.e. Unreserved candidates. Similarly, the seats remaining unfilled by Other Backward Classes (OBC) candidates will be filled by candidates of Scheduled Castes or the Scheduled Tribes or Unreserved candidates. The seats remaining unfilled by unreserved candidates will be filled by candidates of Other Backward Classes (OBC) or the Scheduled Castes (SC) or Scheduled Tribes candidates (ST). This shall be as per merit.

 

Educational Qualifications

Candidates should have the educational qualifications indicated for notified training in the notification from recognized Institutes/Universities/Boards as on the closing date of the application. The details of the academic qualifications are as under. Those awaiting results of the final examination of the prescribed educational qualification SHOULD NOT apply.

Full time regular Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or technology or regular B.E. or full time regular Diploma in the listed fields from recognized Board/University. The total maximum marks and total marks obtained for all Years/Semesters will be summed up to arrive at an aggregate percentage. No rounding off will be done and no weightage will be given to any particular Semester/Year.

Four years Bachelor degree in (i) Electrical/Electronics & Power Engineering or (ii) Combination of any sub stream of Basics streams of Electrical from recognized University/Institute approved by AICTE.

 B.E (Instrumentation

/Electronics/Computer/I.T.)

Four years Bachelor’s Degree in Instrumentation

/Electronics/Electrical & Electronics/ Electronics & Communication/Telecommunication/Computer Science/I.T. Engg. From a Recognized University/Institute approved by AICTE.

 4.

 Diploma (Mechanical)

Full time regular Diploma in Mechanical/ Industrial/ Automobile/Production Engineering from University/Institute recognized by AICTE.

 5.

 Diploma (Electrical)

Full time regular Diploma in Electrical/Electronics & Power Engineering or a combination of any sub stream of basic streams of Electrical/Electronics from recognized University/Institute

 6.

 Diploma(Instrumentation

/Electronics/Computer/I.T.)

Full time regular Diploma in Instrumentation

/Electronics/Electrical & Electronics/ Electronics & Communication/Telecommunication/Computer Science/I.T. Engg. From recognized University/Institute.

Note* No additional weightage will be given to the candidate who possesses higher qualification along with above minimum essential qualification.

 

Stipend

For Graduate Engineers– Rs.9000/- p.m.

For Diploma Holders-Rs.8000/- p.m.

  1. The candidate is not eligible for any TA/DA/Boarding or Lodging expenses incurred during the period of training. Indian Railway Rail Wheel Plant, Bela will not provide any financial assistance towards transportation.
  2. The candidate, who is enrolled, as an Apprentice Trainee for training in RWP/Bela (Indian Railway Rail Wheel Plant, Bela), is required to possess an Aadhar linked Bank Account in his own name and PAN card to receive stipend.
  3. No Hostel accommodation will be provided. Selected candidates will have to make their own arrangement during their training and they will be released on completion of the training.

Selection Process

  1. The candidates will be selected directly through the award letter issued through the NATS, MHRD (Government of India) portal for training based on the percentage of the marks obtained at the time of acquiring of BE or Diploma in relevant field.
  2. In case of two candidates having the same marks, the candidates with older be age shall preferred. In case the date of birth are also same, then the candidate who passed matriculation exam earlier shall be considered first.

Candidates are advised to enroll successfully at www.mhrdnats.gov.in and after approval from the respective board can apply the link available at NATS portal within 14.01.2021.
