How to apply for ISRO Recruitment 2025?

  • Online Application Form: Visit the official ISRO website: https://www.isro.gov.in
  • Candidates registered under the National Career Services (NCS) portal and fulfilling eligibility criteria may apply by following the stated procedure.
  • Applications will be accepted online only.

Important Instructions:

  • Candidates will be Screened-in for Interview based on a valid GATE–2024 or GATE–2025 score. The GATE paper and the subject of the qualifying degree of the candidates must be as per the disciplines mentioned above in the table.
  • Candidates are advised to be careful while filling their GATE Score (not GATE marks or GATE Rank), as the shortlisting will be based on the Score filled in the Application Form. ICRB will be verifying the GATE Score of the applicants.
  • On verification during the screening procedure, if it is found that the candidate’s GATE Score (as entered by him/her) is false, then ICRB reserves the right to take appropriate action (including criminal proceedings) against the candidate.

Selection Process:

  • Shortlisting: Candidates will be shortlisted in a 1:7 ratio based on valid GATE-2024 or GATE-2025 scores
  • Interview: Shortlisted candidates attend an interview.
  • Assessment Areas: Candidates will be assessed on a scale of 100 marks, distributed as follows:
  • Technical knowledge (40 marks)
  • General Awareness (20 marks)
  • Presentation Communication (20 marks)
  • Comprehension (10 marks)
  • Academic achievements (10 marks)
  • Qualifying Marks: Minimum 60 marks in interview (50 marks for PwBD candidates).
  • Final Selection: Based on 50% weightage to GATE Score and 50% weightage to Interview marks.

Other Conditions/Instructions:

  • The number of vacancies indicated is provisional.
  • The posts are temporary but likely to continue.

  • Candidates attending the interview will be reimbursed to and from second-class/sleeper class train fare by the shortest route from the city indicated in the online application form to the place of interview (change of address and city for the purpose will not be entertained).

  • ISRO reserves the right not to fill up all or any of the posts, if it so desires

      As per ISRO notification, only those Mechanical Engineering degree holders who have studied AC & Refrigeration or allied subjects in any of the semesters, in First class with an aggregate minimum of 65% marks or CGPA 6.84/10 are eligible to apply for the post of Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’ (Refrigeration and Air-conditioning)
