Recruitment of Deputy Manager (Technical) Post through GATE 2024 Score
National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) invites applications for filling up 60 posts of Deputy Manager (Technical) on Direct recruitment basis through GATE 2024 score in the discipline of Civil Engineering.

Out of total 60 posts, 06 posts are reserved for Persons with the following Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD): – (i) Deaf and Hard of Hearing – 03 posts (ii) Locomotor disability [One arm(OA)/ one leg(OL)], leprosy cured, dwarfism, and acid attack victims – 03 posts |

Age Limit
Not exceeding 30 years*
*The upper age limit is relaxable as per Govt. of India Rules applicable for different categories.

- The crucial date for determination of eligibility shall be the last date prescribed for the receipt of ONLINE applications.
- All the concessions mentioned above will be concurrent i.e. If a person is eligible for more than one concession, only one of the concessions of the highest permissible limit, will be granted.
Educational Qualification
A candidate should hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University/ Institute on the closing date of receipt of online applications.
Selection Process
On the basis of GATE 2024 scores in the discipline of Civil Engineering.
(A) NOTE : The prescribed essential qualifications are the minimum and the mere possession of the same does not entitle candidates to be considered for appointment or interview.
(B) In the event of the number of applications being large, NHAI will adopt short listing criteria to restrict the number of candidates for interaction/ interview, if called, to a reasonable number by any method to be decided by the Selection Committee.
(C). In case of direct recruitment made by the Authority, the merit of candidates having the same rank in the merit list shall be determined on the basis of the date of birth, the person born earlier shall be placed higher in the merit list. If the date of birth of such candidates is also the same, the merit shall be determined in the order of the first letter in the English alphabet of their initial names.
Salary and Dearness Allowance
Level 10 of Pay Matrix of 7th CPC (Rs.56100 – 177500) with Central Dearness allowance (CDA).
How to Apply
Applicants can apply ONLINE only. The procedure to be followed for filling up the ONLINE application is given below: –
a). The applicant may visit NHAI website http://www.nhai.gov.in for applying Online. It may be accessed on Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox.
b). Click on the tab About Us → Recruitment → Vacancies → Current → Click on the advertisement of Deputy Manager (Technical) → Online Application. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the application.
c). Fill up the form and furnish the requisite information . Following documents are required to be uploaded: –
- Photograph – Scanned copy of colour passport size photograph in only ‘jpg / ‘jpeg’ or ‘png’ or ‘gif’ image types not exceeding 1 MB.
- Signature – Scanned copy of signature in only ‘jpg / ‘jpeg’ or ‘png’ or ‘gif’ image types not exceeding 1 MB.
- Class –X Certificate indicating date of birth in only ‘pdf’ image types not exceeding 2 MB.
- Caste/Category Certificate in support of SC/ST/OBCNCL/EWS/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen (as per prescribed format attached) in only ‘pdf’ types not exceeding 2 MB.
- A certificate in support of passing in Degree in Civil Engineering in only ‘pdf’ image types not exceeding 2 MB.
- GATE Score Card 2024 in only ‘pdf’ image not exceeding 2 MB.
d). Click ‘Next’ button
- e) Application Preview may be seen.
- f) Option of ‘Edit’ and final Submit button, are also available.
- g) If the Applicant is satisfied with the information furnished, click the “Submit” button for submitting the application form through Online. The application form Online may be submitted by 24.02.2025 (6:00 PM).
- h) After submission of Application Form, a “Unique Reference Number” alongwith details entered by the Applicant with subject “Application Acknowledgement” will be generated automatically.
- j) Automatically generated “Application Acknowledgement” would be sent to the E-mail id provided by the Applicant.
- k) The applicant is required to keep a copy of “Application Acknowledgement” in safe custody for producing / submitting to NHAI along with supporting documents in respect of entries made by applicant with regard to his / her date of birth / educational qualification / SC/ST/OBC-NCL/EWS certificate (if applicable)/PwBD certificate/Other supporting documents (viz. experience certificate, NOC from the employer, etc.), if applicable.
IMPORTANT : CANDIDATES ARE ADVISED TO FILL THEIR CORRECT AND ACTIVE E-MAIL ADDRESSES IN THE ONLINE APPLICATION AS ALL CORRESPONDENCE WILL BE MADE BY THE NHAI THROUGH E-MAIL ONLY.
