Railway Recruitment Board, RRB, conducted the Junior Engineer examination from 16^th to 18^th December 2024 at various centers across the country in computer-based mode.

The results of RRB JE CBT 1 2024 for each zone will be posted on the official website of the respective zones very soon. The result would be in the form of a PDF, and the roll number of the selected candidates will be mentioned in the PDF. These results signify the fulfilment of 7951 vacancies of junior engineers across various departments of Railways.

How to download RRB JE CBT 1 Result 2024?

To view the result, aspirants have to follow the steps given below:

• Visit the official website of the RRB for which you have applied.
• Click on the CEN 03/2024 Result of RRB JE CBT 1.
• A pdf will be opened on the screen. Download the pdf and check your roll number.
• Candidates can use CTRL+F option to search their roll number. If the roll number is available, it means they have qualified for CBT 2.

RRB JE exam pattern

RRB JE is a 2-stage examination: CBT 1 and CBT 2. CBT 1 is qualifying in nature, whereas the merit is decided on the basis of CBT 2. CBT 1 is common for all the posts of the respective CEN, whereas CBT 2 is branch specific.

CBT 1 of RRB JE consists of questions from Mathematics, General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Science, and General Awareness. CBT 1 of RRB JE consists of 100 questions of 100 marks, which aspirants have to answer within 90 minutes.

CBT 2 is of 120 minutes of 150 marks. In CBT 2 of RRB JE, 150 questions are asked from various subjects like General Awareness, Physics and Chemistry, Basics of Computer and Applications, Basics of Environment and Pollution Control, and Technical Abilities.

Depending upon the marks in CBT 2, candidates are called for DV and medical examination.

What after RRB JE CBT 1?

Those who clear RRB JE CBT 1 will be called for CBT 2. The syllabus for CBT 2 is given in the official notification; candidates can view the official notification from here. Candidates would roughly get 1-2 months for CBT 2 after the declaration of the CBT 1 result. Those who clear CBT 2 candidates would be called for medical examination and document verification in their respective RRBs.

RRB JE 2024- What you need to know for CBT 2?

Exam Date: RRB has not yet announced the date of CBT 2.

Result Mode: The results of different RRB zones will be released in the form of PDF on the official website the respective RRB zones.

Post exam qualification: Candidates who will qualify the RRB JE CBT 2 will be called for the document verification (DV) round and medical examination.

Preparation Tips for RRB JE CBT 2

CBT 2 would be of 150 marks and 120 minutes. The total number of candidates to be shortlisted for the 2^nd stage shall be 15 times the community-wise total vacancy of posts notified against the RRB as per their merit in 1st stage CBT.
