Railway Recruitment Board, RRB, conducted CBT 1 for the 7951 post of Junior Engineer on 16th to 18th December 2024 after a long gap. After conducting the exam, RRB has released the response sheet of candidates on 23 December 2024. The objection window was open from 23 December 2024 to 28 December 2024. Minimum percentage of marks for eligibility in each category
Candidates need to score a minimum percentage of marks in RRB JE CBT 1. However barely scoring minimum marks doesn’t ensure selection in CBT 1. It just means that candidates must score a minimum of that much marks in each category.

How to check RRB JE CBT 1 result
To view the result, aspirants have to follow the steps given below:
- Visit the official website of the RRB for which you have applied.
- Click on the CEN 03/2024 Result of CBT 1.
- A pdf will be opened on the screen. Download the pdf and check your roll number.
- Candidates can use CTRL+F option to search their roll number. If the roll number is available, it means they have qualified for CBT 2.
What after RRB JE CBT 1
Those who clear RRB JE CBT 1 will be called for CBT 2. The syllabus for CBT 2 is given in the official notification; candidates can view the official notification from here. Candidates would roughly get 1-2 months for CBT 2 after the declaration of the CBT 1 result. Those who clear CBT 2 candidates would be called for medical examination and document verification in their respective RRBs.
Preparation for RRB JE CBT 2
CBT 2 would be of 150 marks and 120 minutes. The total number of candidates to be shortlisted for the 2nd stage shall be 15 times the community-wise total vacancy of posts notified against the RRB as per their merit in 1st stage CBT. The syllabus for CBT 2 is mentioned in the official notification.
