Age Proof
- Only the Matriculation/Higher Secondary certificate mentioning the date of birth will be accepted.
- If unavailable, a birth certificate issued by a competent authority will be considered.
Age Limit
- Upper age limit applies to General Category candidates.
- Relaxation in age for reserved categories is as per government norms.
Age Relaxation
- Reserved Categories: Attach necessary certificates during application and provide originals during document verification.
- PwBD Candidates: Additional 10 years of relaxation for disabilities ≥40%.
- Ex-Servicemen: As per government guidelines.
Category Certificates
- EWS/OBC (NCL)/Caste Certificates: Must be in prescribed formats available on BEL’s website.
- OBC (NCL): Certificate dated on/after 01.11.2023 with a Declaration Form. Income Certificates are not valid.
- EWS: Certificate for 2023-24 issued by the competent authority.
- Incorrect/incomplete certificates will lead to consideration under the General category if all other criteria are met.
Category Changes
- No request for category changes after submission of the online application will be entertained.

BE/B.Tech/B.Sc Engineering (4 years course) from recognized Institute/University/College.

Method of Selection:
- As part of BEL Recruitment 2024, candidates who meet the eligibility criteria and have successfully submitted their online applications will be shortlisted for the Computer-Based Test (CBT). This test will be conducted exclusively in Bangalore, ensuring a fair and streamlined selection process.
- Based on the performance in the Computer Based Test, candidates will be provisionally shortlisted for interview to be held at Bangalore.
- Selection will be based on the performance of the candidate in both the Computer Based Test and Interview.
- For BEL Recruitment 2024, eligible candidates whose online applications are accepted need to visit the official BEL website. By logging in with their credentials, they can download their call letter for the Computer-Based Test (CBT) with ease.
- Candidates are required to print the call letter and comply with the instructions indicated therein. Please note that call letters will not be sent through e-mail or through conventional mail.
- The eligible candidates will be required to appear for Computer Based Test for 85 marks.
- The minimum Qualifying marks will be :

- The list of candidates, who have been short-listed based on the Computer Based Test for Interview, will be published on the BEL website. They will be required to appear for an interview for final selection. The results of selection will be available on the BEL website in query mode.
- The Computer Based Test will be held tentatively in the month of December 2024.
Pay and Allowances:
Under BEL Recruitment 2024, selected candidates will receive a pay scale of ₹40,000-3%-₹1,40,000 with an approximate CTC of ₹12–12.5 LPA. The package includes allowances like DA, HRA, conveyance, 35% perquisites, performance pay, medical reimbursement, group insurance, PF, pension, and gratuity (if applicable), as per company rules.
Application Fee:
Candidates belonging to GEN/OBC(NCL)/EWS category are required to pay an application fee of Rs. 400+18% GST i.e Rs.472/-
- SC / ST / PwBD / Ex-servicemen candidates are exempted from paying application fee.
- Prior to paying the application fee, candidates may carefully go through all instructions and eligibility criteria in the advertisement before remitting the Application Fee.
- Application fee once paid will not be refunded by the Company/Bank to candidates.
- Application fee needs to be submitted through Online mode i.e. SBI Collect.

- Provide a valid and active email ID in the application form.
- All communication, including test/interview details, will be sent via this email.
- Do not share your email ID with others, and no changes will be allowed once entered.
(c) Category Selection:
- Category selected in the application form cannot be modified later.
(d) Documents:
- Retain a printout of the application form and payment acknowledgment slip for reference.
- Hard copies of the application form will not be accepted.
(e) Timely Submission:
- Apply early to avoid last-minute technical issues. BEL will not be responsible for delays in submission.
