ECIL Recruitment of Technical Officer

ECIL Recruitment 2021: Electronics Corporation of India Limited, a Public Sector Enterprise under the Department of Atomic Energy, is looking for dynamic and result-oriented personnel for the following positions purely on fixed tenure contract basis, for a period of one year (extendable up to four years including the initial term, depending on project requirements & satisfactory performance of the candidate) to work in Divisions / Sites / Customer premises for various project requirements:

1. QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE (exp. as on 31/10/2021):

Technical Officer on Contract (Cat.1): A First-class Engineering Degree (Full time) in Computer Science / Information Technology with minimum 60% marks in aggregate from any recognized Institution / University with a minimum one-year post qualification experience in the field of Software development. Candidate should have knowledge in Linux Operating system, Qt Development Environment using C/C++ & strong programming skills in other programming languages with technologies like JAVA/.Net/Dart/ Flutter /etc. and willing to work with Qt IDE in Linux Operating System & Databases (MySQL/ORACLE/SQL Server).

Candidates having knowledge in SCADA Software domain will be preferred.

 

Technical Officer on Contract (Cat.2):

A First-class Engineering Degree (Full time) in Computer Science / Electronics & Communication with minimum 60% marks in aggregate from any recognized Institution / University with minimum one-year post qualification experience in the field of embedded firmware development, design & development of frontend applications and expertise in C, C++, IBM BPM tools.

Candidates having experience in Qt development environment, web administration, and having knowledge in computer software development life cycle will be preferred.

 

Selection Process

After successful on-line registration, candidates will be shortlisted in order of merit in the ratios of 1:5 based on the marks obtained in their BE/B.Tech. & One-year post qualification relevant experience. Such candidates will be called for a Virtual Interview and recommendations will be made based on performance in the interview & relevant experience. Recommended candidates will be considered for final selection subject to successful completion of document verification.

Date of interview & document verification will be intimated to shortlisted candidates by email communication and candidates are required to attend the Virtual Interview within short notice.

 

 Reservations and Relaxations

Reservations &Relaxations for SC/ST/OBC/PwD will be as per Govt. directives.

Relaxation of Marks: 1st Class is relaxed to 2nd Class with 50% marks in aggregate for SC/ST candidates.

Age Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC & 10 more years relaxation for PwD category. The upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for candidates who had ordinarily been domiciled in the State of Jammu & Kashmir from 01/01/1980 to 31/12/1989.

 

Application Process

  1. Eligible candidates have to apply on-line by visiting our website “www.ecil.co.in” (Main Page > Careers > e-Recruitment). The on-line application process will be operational from 19/11/2021 (14.00 hrs.) to 26/11/2021 (16.00 hrs.).
  1. The candidate should furnish actual information/data while filling on-line application form and must produce the supporting document during verification. If fail to do so, the candidature shall be rejected at any stage of the recruitment process.
  1. The post-qualification experience is one of the main criteria in shortlisting the suitable candidates. Hence, applicants are requested to furnish their experience particulars (Post, Company Name, Skills & Roles and responsibilities, etc.) in a detailed manner. On-line applications with incomplete information shall not be considered for further evaluation.
  2. After applying for on-line & successful registration, the candidate is required to take the print of the registered online application form and retain for future reference without fail. The candidate can take a re-print of his/her registered on-line application form before the last date for on-line registration.
  1. There will be no separate communication to any candidate on their non-selection at any stage.

 

General Conditions

  1. The candidate should read the complete advertisement carefully and ensure that he/she has fulfilled the eligibility criteria of the post stated in the advertisement in all respects.
  2. The company reserves the right to modify the selection process by changing the eligibility criteria and conducting written tests if required or alter the no. of posts or even cancel the whole process of recruitment without assigning any reason.
  3. Candidates who studied full-time/regular courses are only eligible. Correspondence/distance mode/e-learning/part-time courses shall not be considered.
  4. The Degree of Disability for PwD Candidates is 40% & above.
  5. All qualifications should be from a recognized Indian University / Institution recognized by the appropriate Statutory Authority.
  6. In the case of CGPA, a relevant certificate from the Institution/University is to be produced with regards to the conversion of CGPA to percentage.
  7. The application is liable for rejection at any stage of the recruitment process in case of suppression of facts/furnishing of false information.
  8. Any Legal proceeding in respect of any matter/claim or dispute arising out of this advertisement and/or any application in response thereto can be instituted only limited to Courts at GHMC (Kapra Circle) alone shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
  9. Canvassing in any form will result in immediate rejection of the application.
  10. Only Indian Nationals are eligible.
