HAL Eligibility Criteria
HAL Recruitment 2026 Eligibility Criteria Candidates who wish to apply for the HAL Recruitment 2026 have to check the HAL eligibility criteria. The HAL eligibility criteria are given below: –
- Candidates should have passed 10th/HSC/SSC and ITI in the above trades from the recognised institution under the craftsman training scheme.
- The aspirant should have completed the course in 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024 & 2025. Only these candidates are eligible to apply for HAL Recruitment 2026.
- NAPS Contract of apprenticeship or candidates who have undergone / undergoing or already registered in are not eligible to apply
- If you have one or more years of work experience, you are not eligible.
What are the documents required at the time of the walk-in interview?
The documents which are required at the time of the walk-in interview are as follows: –
- Valid identification proof
- Educational qualifications documents
- Birth certificate
- ITI NCVT certificate
- ITI examination marksheets
- Reservation certificate
Furthermore, you need to carry one set of photocopies of all the documents, passport-size photographs and registration details in the NAPS portal.
HAL age limit
The minimum age limit is 18 years and the maximum age limit is 26 years as on 24/07/2026 for general candidates. The upper age limit for SC/ST/OBC (NCL) candidates shall be relaxed as per government. Guidelines. 1.

HAL Choice process
Selection for HAL recruitment 2026 will be on the basis of merit as per the marks obtained in the prescribed qualifications. The 10th weightage will be 70%; ITI marks will be 30%. For the HAL job, there is no written test or any interview rounds.

- The candidate must have completed the registration process on the NAPS portal and must have obtained the system-generated registration number. It is the mandatory requirement for the apprenticeship engagement.
- You must carry all the important documents such as identification proof, educational qualification documents, reservation certificates, ITI marksheet and 3 recent passport-size photographs.
