Ex-servicemen such as Commissioned Officers, Emergency Commissioned Officers (ECO), or Short Service Commissioned Officers (SSCOs) who have served at least 5 years of military service receive up to a maximum of five years in the UPSC ESE exam for the 2023 session. Another crucial age relaxation available is a maximum of 10 years. It is applicable for individuals with the benchmark disability, i.e., low vision, dwarfism, acid attack victims, muscular dystrophy, mental illness, and specific learning disability.
