MPSEDC Recruitment 2024 for Trainer, Sr. Trainer, Assistant Governance and District e-Governance manager through GATE Score Card

The Madhya Pradesh State Electronics Development Corporation (MPSEDC) has issued an official notification for the recruitment of 199 positions, including Senior Trainer, Trainer, Assistant e-Governance Manager, and District e-Governance Manager for e-Governance societies across various districts in the state. The online application process for the MPSEDC Technical Recruitment 2024 commenced on 12th November 2024 and will close on 2nd December 2024.

All the posts will be filled by the District e-Governance Society of the respective district. Details and Applicants Qualifications are as follows:-

1. Job Titles and Qualifications:

  • Positions include District e-Governance Manager (DeGM), Lead Trainer, Trainer, and Assistant e-Governance Manager (AeGM).
  • Required qualifications are typically B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science/IT or MCA, with specific percentage criteria for different categories and mandatory GATE scores.

  • 60% for Unreserved/OBC applicants and 50% for SC/ST applicants in B.E.(Computer Science/I.T.)/B.Tech.(Computer Science/I.T.)/MCA/M.Sc.(Computer Science/I.T.).
  • GATE Score Card in CS/IT Stream(Mandatory)
4 Assistant E- Governance (AeGM ) Development block / Tehsil level

Rs.30,000/- every month

  • B.E.(Computer Science/I.T.) / B.Tech.(Computer Science/I.T.) / MCA / M.Sc.(Computer Science/I.T.) 60% for unreserved/OBC applicants and 50% for SC/ST applicants.
  • GATE Score Card is Compulsory in CS/IT stream

 

2. Description of Responsibilities :

District e-Governance Manager (DeGM)

  • IT capacity building of government officials/employees
  • Providing operational support for core IT infrastructure
  • Providing technical support for e-governance projects and programs
  • IT awareness and communication
  • Compliance with standards, guidelines and rules

Assistant e-Governance Manager (AeGM)

To assist the District e-Governance Officer in all the above tasks and Block/Tehsil to perform all the above-mentioned tasks at level.

Lead Trainer

  • Regular conduct of training on e-day.
  • Coordination with District E-Governance Society and other departments regarding training.
  • Proper maintenance of hardware/software/interior furnishings of the center.
  • Assessment of training needs by contacting various departments at the district level.
  • Proposing new training and courses feedback and evaluation of training.
  • Operation of video conferencing facility.
  • Responsibility for completion of center operations.

Trainer

  • Providing assistance to senior trainer in training sessions.
  • Assist the senior trainer in managing the day to day activities of the centre.
  • Conducting training sessions.
  • Daily / Weekly / Monthly report District e-Governance Society and State level.
  • Assist in operating the video conference facility.
  • Assisting the senior trainer in running the centre.
  • District e-governance society and state level training coordination unit from time to time.

3. Age Limit:

Minimum age is 18 years, and the maximum varies (up to 45 years) depending on category and location of residence.

Online applications will be invited from eligible candidates. By post, in person or by e-mail. Applications not sent will not be considered.

4. Selection Process :

  • Separate applications will be received for all the posts.
  • For the posts of District e-Governance Manager, Senior Trainer, Trainer and Assistant e-Governance Manager Therefore, the merit list will be prepared on the basis of score obtained in GATE. Merit list will be prepared on the basis of scores and there will be present/future vacancy in it.
  • Candidates with equal marks, Preference will be given to the candidate having higher age among the candidates.
  • Assistant e-Governance list of selected candidates on the basis of category wise marks will be prepared. By counseling of category wise candidates on the basis of district wise vacancies. Vacant posts will be filled.
  • Reservation of 30 percent posts for women in case of Assistant e-Governance Managers.
  • If any unreserved/Selection for reserved posts of women in reserved category in the absence of suitable female candidates. If no vacancy remains then such vacant post cannot be filled by a male candidate of the same category.
  • 10% reservation for economically weaker section for the posts of Assistant e-Governance Manager.
  • Verification of documents of the candidates included in the proposed provisional merit list for appointment. It will be mandatory to get it done. The candidate for the district for which his/her name appears in the provisional merit list will have to get the documents verified in the District E-Governance Society of the same district.
  • Documents Certification by the e-Governance Society of the districts by the competent authority to the candidates. It is mandatory to get the following documents verified:-
    1. Mark list of High School Certificate Examination (10+2)
    2. Mark list of Higher Secondary Certificate Examination (10+2)
    3. All certificates of minimum qualification prescribed for the post (which are applicable to the candidate)
    4. GATE score card
    5. Certificate of Resident of Madhya Pradesh (if applicable, issued by the concerned officer)
    6. Caste Certificate (if applicable, issued by competent authority)
    7. Economically Weaker Section Certificate (if applicable)

Note:

Actual posting order will be issued only if all the qualifications are found correct after document verification. Do not submit all the above documents and if the documents are found false, the candidature of the applicant will be invalidated.

5. Expiry of Selection List

The validity of the merit list will be for 02 years from the date of issue.

6. Contractual Terms

  • Firstly, all the appointees will be on contract for a maximum of two years i.e. The contract will expire at the end of the year.
  • Initial contracts are for two years, with the possibility of extension based on performance.
  • All appointed personnel will be given a lump sum compensation every month. Dearness and other house rent allowance etc. will not be given.

7. Leave and Benefits:

Contractual employees are entitled to casual, medical, and maternity/paternity leave, but no allowances for housing or travel are provided.

8. Traveling and Daily Allowance

In case of traveling on official work, paid as per eligibility and rules, which will be decided by the District e-Governance Society.

9. Other

  • Officer/employee appointed on contract basis before the prescribed period of service in District E- governance can be terminated by the society on one month’s notice.
  • All other official duties assigned from time to time to the officer/employee appointed on contract. The documents will also have to be edited.
  • The officer/employee appointed on contract basis has been found guilty of misconduct or any criminal activity. On joining, the appointing authority may terminate such contract appointment.
  • No traveling allowance will be paid to the applicant for counseling and taking charge etc. In case of dispute, the decision of the Managing Director, MPSEDC will be final.
