NSIC Recruitment 2024 for Assistant Manager Posts through GATE Score

The National Small Industries Corporation Ltd. (NSIC), a premier Mini-Ratna Government of India Enterprise under the Ministry of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises, invites applications from Indian citizens for the post of Assistant Manager (E-0 Level) under the NSIC Recruitment 2024 for Assistant Manager. This is a regular appointment in the IDA Pay Scale of ₹ 30,000 – ₹ 1,20,000/- in the functional area of Technology across various engineering streams, as detailed below.

Qualification : B.E./B.Tech. (First Class) with at least 60% marks (5% relaxation for SC/ST/PwBD) in Civil, Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, ECE, CSE/IT, or related fields from a recognized institution. GATE qualification required with a valid score (not older than 2 years).

Detailed Guidelines

I. Selection Process

  • The selection process for the NSIC Recruitment 2024 for Assistant Manager will comprise 70% weightage for the GATE score and 30% weightage for the Personal Interview of shortlisted candidates. The GATE marks, out of 100, will be scaled to 70% weightage, and the exam must align with the same engineering stream as the candidate’s application.
  • The GATE score should not be older than two years from the date of the advertisement. Candidates will be shortlisted for interviews in a ratio of 1:5 to 1:7 based on the number of advertised posts.
  • Management reserves the right to modify the eligibility criteria or limit the number of candidates called for interviews under the NSIC Recruitment 2024 for Assistant Manager process. The final decision regarding eligibility, interviews, and selection will rest with Management and will be binding on all candidates.
  • Selected candidates may be posted at any NSIC office or Technical Centre across India.

II. Compensation Package

  • Pay:
    • Basic Pay, Industrial DA, HRA (variable by city class), Perquisites, and Performance-Related Pay (PRP).
    • CTC at the minimum Basic Pay in ₹30,000-₹1,20,000 IDA scale is approx. ₹9.52 lakh (excluding PRP) for ‘X’ class cities.

    • Provident Fund (PF), Gratuity, Pension Scheme, and Leave Encashment.

III. How To Apply?

  1. To apply for the NSIC Recruitment 2024 for Assistant Manager, candidates need to submit their application online through the CAREER section of nsic.co.in. The online application link will be active starting from 07.12.2024.
  2. The process of filling up the Online Application Form is in 4 stages :-

Stage 1 :

  1. Fill the Name and email ID.
  2. An email verification will be received on given email ID. On successful verification email ID applicant will be able to log in to recruitment portal  c) Basic details have to be filled in
  3. d) Email ID can be used for logging into the system for filling up the Application Form.

Stage 2:

Upload copies (self-attested) of the following:

  • Aadhaar card
  • PAN card
  • Passport size photograph and signature. The photograph should be in color with a white background and should be recent one. The photograph and signature should be in JPG/JPEG/PNG format and less than 100kb in size.
  • Class X Certificate / School Leaving Certificate as proof of Date of Birth
  • Mark-sheets of each year / consolidated mark-sheet of Graduation
  • Graduation degree
  • GATE score card of Year 2023 / 2024
  • Caste certificate / EWS certificate, if applicable
  • PwBD certificate, if applicable
  • Any other document (viz. conversion of CGPA to respective percentage, English/Hindi version of certificate in regional language, name change etc.)

Stage 3

Make payment of application fees through NEFT, as applicable.

Stage 4:

Finally an Application Number for the post applied for, will be issued which has to be kept for all future references.

  1. Candidates applying for the NSIC Recruitment 2024 for Assistant Manager must ensure their email ID remains active for at least one year and provide a valid email address. The company will not be responsible for non-delivery or delayed delivery of emails for any reason. Applicants should complete the online form accurately, providing all necessary details. They must upload scanned copies of their photograph, signature, relevant category certificate (SC/ST/OBC-NCL/EWS/PwD, if applicable), and all essential educational and required documents. Candidates should ensure the accuracy of details like Name, Date of Birth, and Address in the NSIC online application form. Incomplete applications will be rejected, and no requests to modify or add information after submission will be considered. Detailed instructions regarding the payment of the application fee are provided under the section “PAYMENT OF APPLICATION FEE.”
  2. Candidates should require the following, while filling up the Online Application Form:
  1. The first name, middle name, surname, father’s/ mother’s name shall be filled in the Application Form.
  2. The online Application Form should be filled in all respect as incomplete Application Form will be rejected.
  3. The candidates are advised to keep all the documents ready along with Payment details while filling the Form.
  4. The date of declaration of result or issuance of mark-sheet/Degree/Certificate, whichever is earlier, shall deemed to be the date of acquiring the qualification.
  5. No abbreviations have to be used, wherever indicated, otherwise application is liable for rejection.
  6. Wherever grades e.g. CGPA/OGPA/DGPA are awarded (in respect of Qualifications), the following methods will be adopted for conversion to equivalent percentage of marks:
  • Conversion of CGPA/OGPA/DGPA to % marks will follow the procedure certified by the issuing University/Institute.
  • If no conversion criteria are provided, the % will be calculated as: (CGPA/OGPA/DGPA ÷ Maximum CGPA/OGPA/DGPA) × 100.
  • Supporting documents for CGPA to % conversion must be attached.
  1. After the Application Number is generated, the candidate shall take the print-out of the same in A-4 size paper, put his/her signature where indicated.
  2. Mandatory Self-Attested Documents (to be enclosed with the printed Online Application Form):
  • Name proof as per Class X Certificate/Mark Sheet or School Leaving/Transfer Certificate.
  • In case of name/surname change: Gazette notification, national newspaper clipping, and an affidavit mentioning previous and changed names.
  • Passing certificates/degrees and mark sheets of all educational and professional qualifications.
  • Class X Certificate/School Leaving Certificate as proof of Date of Birth.
  • Proof of norms used by the University/Institute for CGPA/OGPA/DGPA to percentage conversion.

IV. General Information And Instructions

  • Job Location: Selected candidates may be posted anywhere in India or abroad as per the Corporation’s business needs.
  • Transfer & Promotion: Applicable policies will be followed during promotion.
  • Eligibility: Candidates must ensure they meet all criteria before applying.
  • Interview: Submission of an application does not guarantee an interview or selection.
  • Eligibility Determination: Age, qualifications, and experience will be assessed based on the closing date (27.12.2024).
  • University: Recognized by the UGC or established by an Act of Parliament or State Legislature.
