  7. INSTRUMENTATION QUESTION 2 ( APTITUDE ) : Answer must be B but not C
    Explanation :

    Let us assume number of students = 100 Let us assume that there was an estimation that 650 people will participate in strike Let the number of people who have participated in strike are 500 So the number of people who have not participated in strike are 150 If we take the statement “Some who were not involved in the strike were students.” , let us assume that ” ‘SOME’ of the people out of all who have not participated in strike as x = 100 . That is 100 out of 150 (i.e, some of the people out of all who have not participated) , then the main statement is being out ruled ! It should have been “some” but not all ! So we can’t assume 4 as logically necessary ! Because the assumed statement must yield the given statement in the question always no matter how we go ! Where as if we assume at least 1 participated then we can at least say in some or the other case only few might not have participated ! Without any conundrum the answer must be statement C.There is a difference between Logically Necessary and Logically True ! ” Some who were not involved in the strike were students ” may even lead to a conclusion that “ALL” might have not participated and so it is logically not “NECESSARY” as the question stated clearly that ” SOME ” did not participate, it might have been “Logically TRUE” but the question was to state which is a “NECESSARY” and in that case I guess that there should have been at least 1 student participating in the strike first , only then can we talk about ” SOME ” not participating . Where as the statement C may also lead to “All participating” yet it is used in a negative sense and can be logically inferred and it is logically necessary that in the first case at least 1 student should participate first . If the statement ” At least one student was involved in the strike ” is not taken as logically necessary , there arises no concept of talking about the rest of the cases as it will lead to ” None of the students participated ” in the strike , whereas it was clearly mentioned that “SOME” did not participate in strike . So , the CORRECT OPTION must be B. Statement C

    TECHNICAL QUESTION 1 : Answer must be and will be for sure 4ns but not 6ns in the final key by IIT as he has clearly mentioned that both A and B are stable and thus one should not consider the delay produced by the ANDING of A and B . ECE had a similar question previously , that time too made easy gave a wrong solution to it , the final key revealed the other .

    TECHNICAL QUESTION 34 : In the solution provided , the resolution of 10 bit ADC is not considered , where as it should be considered for evaluating the answer , so by solving the question by taking into consideration the resolution of 10 bit ADC , the answer will be around 96 or 97 Pascal which shall be approximated to 100 Pascal as the question itself stated ” Approximately is … “

            Q 54 – Let T be a full binary tree with 8 leaves…Choosing two leaves uniformly and at random, what is the expected distance between them
            A. The answer you have given assumes the two leaves have to be different. Whereas in Question 2, you have assumed for the same terminology “uniformly and at random” to mean the same number can be chosen twice.
            Please check that the answer will be 4.25 if the same leaf can be chosen twice and not 4.86.
