UPSC IES/ ESE Results 2020 announced
UPSC has declared the final ESE Results 2020 on 12th April 2020. Engineering Services Examination (ESE) also referred to as IES is one of the major examinations conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission). Each year thousands of aspirants appear for this exam and clearing the subsequent stages of the exam i.e. Prelims, main, and the personal interview round enables the aspirants to serve in various departments of the Government of India as designated officials. Thus, Engineering Services Examination is considered the most prestigious examination amongst engineering graduates.
ESE Prelims was held on 5th January 2020, followed by the ESE 2020 Main Exam on 18th October 2020, after a sufficient gap of around 6 months. On 11th Dec 2020, Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) declared Engineering Services Examination (ESE) main 2020 result amid this COVID-19 Situation.
Now after conducting the Personality test in March-April, 2021 the final ESE/IES 2020 results have been announced. The following table represents the list of candidates (category wise) who have been recommended for appointment to various Services/Posts in the Ministries/Departments concerned.
