Age Limit

The upper age limit mentioned above is for General & EWS candidates. The upper age limit will be relaxable for SC/ST candidates by 5 years and for OBC candidates by 3 years. For candidates belonging to PWD category having a minimum of 40% disability will get 10 years’ relaxation in addition to the relaxation applicable to the categories mentioned above.

Terms of Engagement & Remuneration

Project Engineers will be engaged initially for a period of TWO years which may be extended up to a maximum of four years (including the initial period) based on requirement and individual performance. Candidates will be paid a consolidated remuneration of Rs. 35,000/- per month for the 1st year, Rs. 40,000/- for 2nd year, Rs. 45,000/- for 3rd year, and Rs. 50,000/- for the 4th year.

Trainee Engineers will be engaged initially for a period of ONE year which may be extended up to a maximum of Three years (including initial period) based on requirement and individual’s performance. Candidates will be paid a consolidated remuneration of Rs. 25,000/- per month for the 1st year, Rs. 28,000/- for 2nd year and Rs. 31,000/- for 3rd year.

Qualification for Trainee Engineer and Project Engineer

4 Years Full time BE/ B.Tech course from reputed Institute/University in the following Engineering discipline –

1. a) Electronics – Electronics/ Electronics& Communication/ Electronics & Telecommunication/ Telecommunication/ Communication
2. b) Mechanical.

B.E./ B.Tech in the Engineering disciplines mentioned above with First Class for General, EWS & OBC candidates & Pass Class for SC/ST/PwD Candidates. Candidates must possess all years/ semesters mark sheets and Degree certificates. Method of conversion of CGPA to percentage has to be attached. Applications without the conversion certificate will be rejected.

Post Qualification Experience

 Trainee Engineer – I: Engineering graduates in the indicated disciplines can apply for the post of Trainee Engineer – I. Freshers should have completed 8th semester examinations and all other requirements for award of Engineering Degree in 2021 and should produce Provisional Degree Certificate / Engineering Degree Certificate at the time of joining. Candidates who are currently still pursuing Engineering Degree or have backlog papers from previous semesters, need not apply.

Project Engineer – I: 2 years relevant post qualification industrial experience. Only relevant post qualification experience will be considered. The decision of the selection committee, with respect to relevance of experience will be final. Work experience indicated without supporting documents, will not be considered. Candidates with teaching / research experience need not apply.

 

Selection Process

A merit list of all eligible candidates who meet the qualifying criteria specified in the advertisement will be prepared, based on the aggregate percentage obtained in B.E./B.Tech and work experience, as indicated below:

3. Candidates have to compulsorily provide the CGPA conversion to the percentage of marks as per the guidelines provided by their university.
4. Candidates will be shortlisted in the order of merit based on marks obtained in BE/ B.Tech and the number of years of experience as indicated above in the ratio of 1:5. Only those candidates who are shortlisted will be called for the interview.
5. The names of the candidates shortlisted for interviews will be notified on our Company’s website.
6. Candidates who will be shortlisted for the interview are required to download their interview call letter.
7. The results of the final selection will be available on the BEL website.

1. The job may involve traveling all over India as per the requirement of the company.
2. Candidates are required to enter all information correctly in the online application form and verify the same before submission, as changes shall not be permitted after submission of the application form.
3. The dates of the selections, timing, and venue will be intimated to the shortlisted candidates through e-mail only. A list of candidates shortlisted for interviews will also be uploaded on the BEL website. BEL will not be responsible for bouncing any e-mails due to invalid e-mail IDs provided by the candidates in the application form.

1. The application fee should be remitted through SBI Collect (Online or Through SBI Branch). Application fees can be paid online by visiting the following link: https://www.onlinesbi.com/sbicollect/icollecthome.htm?corpID=14842
2. Candidates are requested to read the details and screenshots for making the payment.
3. Candidates can also make the payment by approaching SBI branch. You have to select SBI branch in the payment option and download the pre-printed challan generated through SBI Collect and deposit the application fee (as applicable) plus applicable bank charges in any SBI Branch. The candidates should ensure to obtain the seal and signature of the bank official.
4. Candidates have to enter the “SBI Collect reference No.” generated after payment in the online Application Form.
5. Candidates may go through all instructions and eligibility criteria carefully before remitting the Application Fee and submitting the application. The fee once paid will not be refunded.

Note: While paying application fees through SBI collect, candidates should ensure that they mention the same mobile number and email id in SBI collect as has been mentioned by them in the online application form.

General Instructions

1. Selected candidates are required to obtain a medical insurance cover for a sum of Rs.2 lakhs per annum and submit the same on joining. In addition to the remuneration indicated, a consolidated amount of Rs.10,000/- per year will be paid towards expenses like medical insurance premium, attire allowance, stitching charges, footwear allowance, etc.
2. Only Indian nationals need to apply.
3. The postings will be done based on the Company’s requirements.
4. The posts indicated above may vary based on the actual requirement at the time of selection.
5. Screening and selection will be based on the details provided by the candidates; hence it is necessary that only accurate, full, and correct information is furnished by the applicants. Furnishing of wrong/false information and inaccurate or incomplete information will be disqualified and BEL will not be responsible for any consequence of furnishing such wrong /false/ inaccurate/ incomplete information.
6. Candidates whose specialization mentioned in the degree certificate does not tally with the branch mentioned in the application will not be considered for selection.
7. All details given in the online form will be treated as final and no changes will be entertained.
8. In the event it is found that candidates have disclosed false information in the application form, BEL reserves the right to disqualify their candidature at any stage during the selection process.
9. It may please be noted that submission of online applications under factious/ pseudo names/ email IDs is strictly prohibited. Any candidate resorting to such practices will be liable for suitable action under the provisions of the IT Act 2000.
10. Candidates are required to possess at least one valid e-mail ID. Candidates are advised to keep the email ID (to be entered compulsorily in the online application form) active for at least one year. No change in the email ID will be allowed once entered. All correspondence with candidates shall be done through email only. Responsibilities of receiving and downloading information/ communications etc. will be of the candidate. BEL will not be responsible for bouncing of e-mails, nonreceipt of e-mails due to invalid e-mail IDs, setting options exercised by the candidate, etc. and no correspondence in this regard will be entertained.
11. Request for change of Mailing address/ email ID/ category/ posts as declared in the online application will not be entertained.
12. There will be no separate communication to any candidates on their non-selection at any stage.
13. Candidates may also be deployed to work on other projects/outstation sites, based on exigencies of work.
14. Any revision, clarification, addendum, corrigendum, time extension, etc. to the above advertisement will be hosted on the “Careers” section of BEL Website: www.belindia.in only and no separate notification shall be issued in the press. Candidates are requested to visit the website regularly to keep themselves updated.
15. Shortlisting of candidates will be carried out purely based on the information declared by candidates in the online application form. If at any further stage of selection, it is found that candidates have declared false information w.r.t. their credentials, BEL reserves the right to debar them at any stage of selection.
16. The decision of BEL in all matters regarding eligibility of the candidate, the stages at which such scrutiny of eligibility is to be undertaken, qualifications, and other eligibility norms will be final and binding on the candidate.
17. A candidate’s shortlisting for interview and subsequent processes is strictly provisional. Mere fulfilling the minimum requirement of qualification and experience will not vest any right on the candidates to be called for the selection process/ interview.
18. BEL reserves the right to change (cancel/modify/add) any of the criteria, method of selection, number of posts; indicated above based on the actual requirement at the time of selection.
19. Canvassing in any form will result in disqualification. BEL reserves the right to debar/disqualify any candidate at any stage of the selection process for any reason whatsoever.
20. In case any dispute arises on account of interpretation of clauses in any version of this advertisement other than English, the English version available on the BEL website shall prevail.
21. Any resulting dispute arising out of this advertisement including the recruitment process shall be subject to the sole jurisdiction of the Courts situated at Panchkula/ Chandigarh.
22. Appointment of the provisionally selected candidate will be subject to being found ‘Medically Fit’ by the Company’s medical authorities as per the medical fitness standards laid down by the Company. The candidate who is called to report on selection should get himself/herself medically examined by a Civil Surgeon/Asst. Civil Surgeon and submit the medical report as per the requirement of the Company.
